Amazing!
I have pain underneath my ribs on my back and this is the best tool I have found to release it! You can use it on the couch, against a wall, or on the floor. The different size knobs are great for getting different areas on neck and back. Great for the soreness at the base of the skull as well. I have taken it on long car rides and you can put it between the seat and your back. Overall phenomenal product, worth it being overpriced due to its unique shape and ability to help with areas that are otherwise hard to reach.

A True Godsend
This has been a game changer for me!! I have serious neck issues. After watching Dr Berg on how to address neck pain, I decided to try this. WOW. Talk about getting to the root of the pain. I am slowly noticing that I am able to move my arm without the sharp pain I was having after addressing the pressure point in my neck. This was a Godsend.

Good product. Poor shipping packaging
Doing Dr Berg's accupressure has helped. But seriously, the book was mangled. The box was totally crushed when it arrived. Ship in a box not a bag. This is how my product showed up from Amazon.

Used Properly this Tool is Safe & Effective
I have been following Dr. Berg's site for a few months. I am not fully on Keto diet, but it is what I lean toward most. His understanding of trigger points is right on according to my personal experience. His working on the muscles opposite the muscles who are sore at first seems counterintuitive, but so far it has worked, unless there is damage (like a break, fracture or tearing, etc...) which would require other forms of attention. I have a TheraCane and Knobble, and this adds to my effective set of tools. I used it last night right after it arrived. I didn't read the booklet fully, but went over the seven points at least. and did them all. Years ago I went to a chiropractor to reestablish the proper curvature to my neck (from a lifetime of choosing to sleep without a pillow), and that chiropractor succeeded by having me on a daily basis for several weeks lay flat on my back into a device that pushed my chin back, extending my neck. Of course I had to do it gradually, lengthening both the time and the stretch. This Massage Tool has many functions, and one of them reminds me of what I described. I'd had lots of neck pain for weeks and other things just weren't helping it this time. But just wit a minimal application of the tool to the seven locations brought a stretch that was relaxing and created noticeable blood flow. This morning when I awakened I was free of neck pain. Of course I may have to keep on it as it may return. But one night's brief use and I can see it was well worth the $50+. Beware though not to put the tool directly on the spine, but let the prongs (or whatever they're called) straddle it. Do not press too hard or too long. Work into it gradually. Even using it a little can have good results. Although the booklet it came with is small, there is a surprising amount of information in it. Maybe because things have come together seeing the practical application after watching the videos.

5 Stars worth of happy with this massage tool.
My massage tool arrived yesterday. How can I already give it 5 Stars? The massage tool is sturdy, firm. The points are designed to mimic hand positions helpful in releasing trigger/tender points. It was errand day yesterday and I was able to use the tool to keep my pain down to a dull roar. I used it like a head massage tool. I also used it on my hands, arms, and legs. All without fatiguing my hands then spending time sitting massaging my hands. Once while waiting in the car between errands, I even used it in the stress releasing position I had seen on videos and in the instruction .pdf I received in an email -- although I probably looked funny sitting parking spaces trying out the tool, I was quite happy with the results and if anyone had asked would have happily told them where to find one of their own! A few weeks ago I had a setback and had to drastically reduce my exercise and was unable to schedule massages -- not a great combination.. I frequently can have spasms in my hands, arms, shoulders. especially, when I am not on a steady schedule of massages and exercise. When I do not quickly change or end an activity that is causing the spasms to worsen, and begin to massage and work on the tender points, the spasms can become stronger and more widespread... Rebuilding my level of exercise and pain relief after a setback can be a long uncomfortably painful process. If yesterday was any indication of the massage tools adjunctive benefits, I have great hope for my return to normal activity levels sooner rather than later. I will update in a few weeks. How did I know about the tool? I stumbled across Dr. Berg on YouTube last year. I saw the massage tool, went to his website then put off buying the tool. I spend so much money trying to relieve pain, get healthier, perform more activities, that $40.00 to 50.00 plus shipping seemed like a lot to blow on something no one I know could vouch for being effective.... It surprisingly has remained on my list of things to try. An email update from Dr Berg caught my attention. It was for a webinar on sleep, pain, and stress.I know that the keys to a return to normalcy for me begin with better sleep, and reduced pain and stress. At the bottom of the email was a $10.00 off coupon. It was a pleasant surprise. I decided the massage tool would be a great Christmas present to myself. Last night I again used it in the stress releasing position and tried a few more positions I had seen in videos and the .pdfs. I was happy, 5 stars worth of happy with how good it felt.

Great product if motivated to use it
I wanted to give this four stars because for me it worked great but for my wife she could never get the hang of using it by herself. It does work in the sense that if you put it in the right spots and hold it there it really does relieve your stress and help you sleep. But on the other hand trying to get it into the spots you need it and holding it there without someone else helping you is what becomes difficult if you're not familiar with how to do this. I do like dr. Berg's videos and he has very good knowledge of how to use this tool but trying to use it by yourself without any knowledge becomes difficult. For me I like the product very much it relieves my stress at night and I am asleep within minutes after taking it off. It worked for both me and my wife but since my wife cannot use it on her own it is not worth the money for me to keep it it was more for her than for me. So now I have to give the massage each night to her in order for her to sleep well. And my fingers and thumbs hurt. I think if there were rubber balls at the ages of the tripods it would help secure enough in a place because it kept sliding upper down when she would put it on the chair or on the headboard of our bed. I personally think she would just not motivated to use the product to relieve her own stress. But for me I think it's a great product.

It works for me
I have bought acupressure canes several different types and designs and this one seems to really help. I had fallen and hurt my arm and shoulder (rotator cuff). It helps in different areas like calves, around knees and of course spine areas and neck. It would be great for use on someone receiving a total full body massage(they will love you!) Just be careful and learn how to use it. It is very powerful and takes some careful experimentation to learn to unlock its full capabilities.I love mine so much that I’ve bought one for a friend in his 70’s and lots of muscle pains and I’m hoping it will help him. I could now throw away most of the massage tools or give them away. If you get one take the time to learn how to use it. Is has good weight and heft that most of the pressure point massage tools don’t have. You have to play around with it. Amazon Prime vendors give you 30 day trial to figure out wether it’s for you.I don’t often get excited like this but this tool is giving me some real relief and saving me a lot of money in the long run.

Not effective for solo use, falls over or slides out
**Disappointing and Not Practical for Self-Massage** I had high hopes for the Dr. Berg massage tool, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. I purchased it specifically for self-massage, hoping to relieve upper back pain between my shoulder blades. However, it’s not practical to use on your own. The tool constantly slips or falls over when you try to position it, making it more frustrating than helpful. If you're looking for a self-massage solution, this isn't it.
