Product description Review: ASD 3-head LED with motion detector - This fixture provides plenty of light from the three housings. 1) Wiring should be straight-forward if there is an outdoor box where you are installing this; on vinyl siding, there is often a siding flat without a box and this would not have sufficient space for the wire-nut connections to the mains and the existing wire-nuts for the 3 housings. 2) Applying silicone to the interface between the box and the fixture is necessary because the dimensions are the same; that is the fixture does not fit over the standard cylindrical outdoor box with a lip or into the outdoor box. The bolt on center mount will allow a very snug mounting. Further, siliconing the lamp directional adjusting screws should be done only after you have them directed else you will get silicone everywhere. 3) As is the case with all the crap you buy, the instructions spend a lot of time on the obvious, the marketing, the lawyer required warnings, but the diagram describing which switches are where is too small and too blurred on the paper to be useful. Standing up on a ladder, squinting at a black on black set of labels and switches is not useful, so a readable diagram on the doc would have been nice. As it is unclear which setting I have chosen, when the light is on, it provides ample light and was simple to install. If I figure out the hieroglyphics on the bottom of the motion sensor, i will post a diagram of it than can be read. EDIT: Slide switch: Motion sensor is only activated in the center location of the 3 position slide switch. Detent is bearly palpable, so aligning the marks is necessary. The knob next to the slide switch is the sensitivity. Fully clockwise is most sensitive; middle knob is time with fully clockwise 5min, fully ccw 5sec; last is sensitivity of the motion sensor, fully sensitive cw, least ccw; all looking from the bottom. (I have my light on auto and am waiting for it to turn off.)
