This is one of the better cleaners that I’ve purchased for sure. It doesn’t leak and it pumps out water and particulate from gravel well and fast. So, be prepared for this item to suck out the water from the tank quickly. The size is gray for my 2.6 gallon tank and the item is durable and easy to store. I recommend for at max a 5 gallon tank and nothing less than 2.5 gallons. I am happy with this purchase!

I keep my potted plants in large pre-fab fish ponds when they aren't on display, allowing roots to easily get water without having to hand water every day. When we get a lot of rain the ponds fill by several inches more than needed, which can quickly drown and kill the plants. This siphon easily fits down among the pots and quickly removes the water. It's been much easier than scooping it out with a water pitcher!!

Work wonders with not only getting dirty and sludge out but also water.It is pretty tiring for the arms but it’s a great product

Funny enough i bought this to help drain out my counter top ice maker and it works perfectly in getting up bits of debri without tilting the machine over.

I bought this back in October 24 and loved it until now. I've used it about 10 times and now it isn't siphoning.

this works so much better than other pumps I've tried. much better at cleaning the tank-as far as sifting the sand and removing water for a partial water change.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this based on the stellar reviews. I was highly disappointed with this product. I attached a video and I am pressing it with left hand. You can see how flimsy the product is. The photo is showing you a reference as to how long the tube is. I have a 55 gallon aquarium and you can see if you put it into the water to reach the gravel, you have limited hose to reach out of the aquarium.I attempted to use this today when I got it. The first attempt, I was able to stir up the gravel and get some of it cleaned. It was maybe 5 minutes and I was struggling to keep the hose close enough to a bucket. I was only able to do the front part of the aquarium with how the hose was reaching. I removed it from the tank after getting maybe 2 gallons out of the tank. I tried to put a chair up close to me, to put my bucket on. Put the thing back in the tank and tried to squeeze and squeeze but it wouldn't siphon any water. Checked to see if any rocks might be lodged, nothing in the hose at all. Pulled it back out to shake and see if I could hear any gravel, thinking maybe the valves are blocked. Nothing.I will be returning this product because something is not right. This is comparable to cheap china made stuff that is typical of Amazon.

My favorite suction tool for water changes! I have two turtles. A 55 gallon and a 40 gallon breeder. If you don't already know, well turtles are extremely dirty, so they require a great canister filter and 25% water changes at LEAST every 2 weeks. This can be exhausting lol. Some reviews say it sucks too fast, but it's the only siphon I have found tbat can get all of the (literal) crap off of the bottom of the tank. I do take the filter part off, and sometimes it gets clogged. I have purchased 3 over the last 4 years. With the amount of debris they have to pick up and the frequency of the water changes, I think they are WELL worth the price. Skip the expensive water siphons. They suck and this one is great!
