Worst Arcade Stick Ever
The buttons are so big and far apart you think it was made for giants. The buttons also are flimsy and move down where youre pressing, not all down, just that part of the button youre pressing down on, so again its better for giants to play with, not people with normal sized hands. The body is very heavy, I dont know what they were thinking making it out of heavy material, must have cost a lot to ship these things. STAY AWAY! Not even worth $1.

A good start
I can somewhat agree with some of the reviews. This stick is a little stiff, but it's designed that way. It's metal for crying out loud. You can drive a car over the side with the buttons and it would still work. In the winter, it's a little cold on your lap but, again, it's metal. I've used it for fighting games and had very little difficulty adjusting to it's controls. It isn't really designed for RPG's, drivers, or shooters. It's well made, sturdy and dependable in my opinion. No. I do not work for a gaming company. haha Just an average couch potato gamer.

The best arcade stick I've ever had the pleasure of owning.
I have been through about four arcade sticks in my playstation adventures. I have never seen one that comes close to beating the shadowblade. I'll start with its construction. Unlike many other arcade sticks available for the psx or ps2, the shadowblade is made primarily out of metal. It has a good solid weight and sturdiness to it. It is also a good 25% larger than most sticks out there with nice large buttons. I personally like this. It also happens to be the most comfortable controller I have ever had. It's easy to see the time Interact put into making this stick comfortable and natural to operate. It just seems to fit my hands whether I've got it sitting on a table, or sitting in my lap. There is even a wrist rest for your right hand. Another thing that makes this stick stand out from the rest is the size of the actual stick. It is taller than any arcade stick I have ever seen. This might seem like a disadvantage, but it's not clunky or oversized at all. It fits my hand quite well. I have to say something about all the features this thing has. First of all, all the buttons have the option of being digital or analog. This means that they are pressure sensitive. While most games do not take advantage of this feature, it's nice that Interact is planning for the future. In other words, you won't have to go buy another stick in the future when you need a controller with analog buttons. The shadowblade is also programmable. Meaning, it will take input from all 8 directions on the stick and all 8 buttons. Not only that, but it had many advanced programming options. For instance, you can insert pauses in between button inputs. Also, it is possible to program the 'holding' of one button while other buttons are pressed simultaneously. There is also a function that repeats the last action a specified amount of times. The shadowblade can hold up to 14 actions in one button. And despite the fact that the programming features sound complicated, it is all explained very well in the manual. All these features make it possible to program almost anything the game can throw at you into the controller and allow you to execute it with one button! I can't say enough good things about this controller. It's sleek, durable, responsive, ergonomic, loaded with features, and it even matches the ps2. If you like fighting games(especially TTT), or if you just like the feel of an arcade stick, this is DEFINITELY the one to buy. You will not be sorry.

Worst joystick ever.
I bought this stick because I am an avid gamer, mostly of the fighting genre. I attend tournaments regularly for Tekken Tag and Tekken 4 so I wanted to use a stick instead of a pad so I bought this one because of its cheap price (other sticks tend to cost $50+), but I made the wrong choice. The stick itself is set in a square recession which makes the diagonals harder to hit and the buttons are of the "nipple" type instead of the standard pushbutton fare. The stick also requires much farther movement in order to get it to register. This stick is also prone to break. I bought mine and played with it for 2 weeks and it broke. The stick stopped registering movement and several buttons ceased to work. I am very dissapointed in this stick. I would not recommend it to anyone. Even if you really need a stick, you should steer clear of this junk. Instead of this stick, I suggest that you should try out MASSystem sticks, Namco/Hori sticks, or the elusive Korean Stick. These sticks are the most common at tournaments because they are the best.

I would give this ZERO stars if I could.
This stick is HORRIBLE. I bought this to play Capcom Vs SNK 2. The time it takes to perform a special or super, or just jumping, you're already dead. The fault lies in the stick itself. All arcades games I've played, the sticks move in a smooth circular motion. This stick moves and clicks in a octagon-like motion. I've always a game is only as good as its play-control, Cap vs SNK is an excellent game but using this arcade stick does little to support that statement.

possibly the worst stick I've ever used
On a whim and a touch of desperation I picked this up at a local shop, being the only stick I could find in town. I really regret doing so because it's just awful. "Mush" describes it well, mushy buttons, mushy stick, just mushy. This is due to the fact that everything on the stick is capable of operating in analog mode (why? this is an arcade stick for crying out loud!). Because of this, response time is greatly reduced in fighters and you've got to really throw the stick through its entire range before it will register. If you've ever used a nice stick like the ASCII FT (even the Agetech DC stick) or any of Happ's sticks in an arcade for any length of time, avoid this thing like the plague. You'll regret it as much as I do.

Awesome game pad, not for everyone though...
As a longtime, 40+ yr old gamer, I must say this Joystick pad has the authentic feel of an original arcade set up. Constructed well and very sturdy to handle the pulling and jamming necessary when using it. It does take a bit getting used to, but well worth the price and I also highly recommend it for some of the older games more than the newer ones as it was built for that purpose. All in all an awesome addition to any gamers collection. 4 out of 5 stars just because I wish the buttons were better highlighted to see which ones are which when using w/ the PlayStation.

A must have for TTT and all fighting games.
If your getting a PS2 and plan to get tekken tag tournament this is definatly top on your list. Its strong and durable, easy to use and i prefer it over using the normal controler. If you dont wana get this they also are coming out with a special controler for Tekken. That will also play all playstation fighting games on either a PSX or PS2. Both are good, but i recomend you get this because its more compatable.
