Gooper Hermetic Waterproof Case for Smart Phone

I bought this a few months ago on the recommendation of a surfski world champion and I'm really happy I did! I had some other pouches before, one of which ruined a small tablet by leaking. This one is different, the way it's constructed there is no fold or other weird part that makes me worried that it will crack and leak, and the closure is so easy and secure that there's no mistake possible.I use the pouch 3x/week with a samsung s6. I t goes into the front pocket of my life jacket and I hope onto a surfski to out out onto the open ocean in waves. The pouch gets wet every time and often also goes for a swim with me. I do not dive with it, however. The magnetic closure means it just wants to close, no hassling with a zip-lock where after some struggle you're still not sure whether you got it 100%.The lanyard is long enough that you can have it around a ring on the life jacket and then still hold the phone far enough away so you can dial. Be sure to trap a bit of air into the pouch when you close it so it bulbs a bit which helps with the touch screen by keeping the inevitable water drops a few millimeters away from the screen.

I love this case! I've got two now, and they work great. I can fit my S7 Edge with a case in it, and it comes in an out no problem. I've gone in the water on accident with it, and have had no problems.

Doesn't fit the note 3 with otterbox. Seems pretty cheaply made for the money. But not to say it doesn't work. Probly good enough to last quite a while but a big investment for something that can so easily be destroyed one lil leak and it's useless.

I have owned two for over 2 years. One for kayaking and one of beach use. Since we surf whilst kayaking, rolling is frequent and the Gooper has done an outstanding job. One minor point, do wash the outside with fresh water after using it in the sea to make sure no parts rust. Definitely a 5 star product.

I field tested this smartphone pouch at Loveland Ski Area in Colorado on a cold snowy day and i was really impressed. It's now part of my standard snowboarding equipment. If i had an email,text,picture to take or just wanted to change a song, the Gooper was very accessible and i didn't have to worry about holding onto it tight because of the handy neck strap. It's completely water/weather proof and because i use bluetooth headphones it seals all the way. No problem touching/typing on the screen through the clear plastic. It's worry free smartphoning while snowboarding. Five stars baby!Thanks Gooper!!!
