It's a lock. It locks things. It's sturdy enough, uses a key and the key is easy to use. I use it to lock up a small storage shed at my campsite for the season. No one has tried to cut it yet. It's not to small and not to large. Has survived almost a full season in our crazy weather and the lock still works well, no signs of rust or wear.

This little padlock is versatile (can be used almost anywhere) and quite heavy duty, particularly for the price. The functionality is top notch. I bought it in pink (as a fun variation) and am very pleased with it. This padlock is the perfect size for my basement garage storage space.

If you don’t have your key and need to break this lock, good luck. The lock will not break. It is unbreakable. Luckily my fiancé was able to bring my spare key.

This is an affordably priced Master Lock, so I expect it to be pickable. In fact, I bought two of these specifically to practice my skills as a beginner lock picker, and it's not terribly difficult to open. But neither of my kids, who have put very little effort into lock-picking could open either of the 146Ds. The upside is that, at least for me, I cannot rake either of these 146Ds, while I can easily rake the Yale and 140D brass Master Lock that are around the same price. I believe this model includes at least one spool pin, which means that while it's still only four pins, it takes a modicum of skill for someone to pick open as opposed to being a very simple and quick rake attack to open. I suppose the nice thing about this lock is that it looks cheaper than the Yale or brass version of this lock, but actually provides marginally better security. Hopefully it makes your gym locker look less likely to include anything valuable while also being more resistant to a quick rake attack than many of the other locks that will be used on nearby lockers. I give it 4 stars for working well with the keys it comes with and being better than the similarly priced competition I see on Amazon.

Love the color, easy to carry, perfect for gym lockers and feels durable. Glad it comes with two (2) keys, just incase I misplace one.
