I am not sure why some reviewers says it’s not aligned to the common core but I see that all questions are aligned to common core and also has a common core standard number mentioned in it. The explanations are very detailed and helpful. If you are looking for a book for common core test preparation, this is the book you want! Excellent book that is fairly priced
This is a very good common core workbook. The problems are all multi-step and interesting. I am not sure why some reviewers says it’s not aligned to the common core but I see that all questions are aligned to common core and also has a common core standard number mentioned in it. The explanations are very detailed and helpful. If you are looking for a book for common core test preparation, this is the book you want!

Great way to help a struggling kid
I bought this for my daughter after she started to fall behind in school. This has been a great way for her to practice concepts she has already learned as well as to be introduced to concepts she has not been exposed to. As a former teacher I can say that the content in this book aligns directly with the common core standards. The only thing missing that I wish it had was more explanations of how to solve the problems especially for the geometry section it would have been nice if it included a glossary or blurb with a refresher of what all the vocabulary means.

Wonderful Resource for 4th Graders!
This is an excellent math workbook book for my 4th grader. It helps her tremendously in school as well as with homework. It helps her grasps and understand concepts throughly and thus helps her in tests and exams. I am so happy I purchased this book. A must buy if you have a 4th grader that needs extra help in understanding common core math better!!

Great help for a fourth grader!
It is a great book. But there are some errors I noticed. And the word problems are often dry for kids to understand.

excellent workbook with well explained answers
I purchased grade 4 and grade 5 books. both of my kids found it interesting with challenging problems and well explained answers. they find it easy to solve the problems with the space provided ! the assesment test at the back of the book is sure a great resource. its a student friendly workbook! will sure buy for the coming academic years too.

Great work book for students
I purchased the book for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. For my kids in different age groups, I wanted to give some math worksheets to improve their understanding of mathematical concepts. 1. The questions are of high standard and are similar to the questions on the standardized tests. 2. There are many word problems to illustrate the application of mathematical concepts 3. Workbook is clearly divided into chapters, and the font is acceptable size, along with pictures for some of the word problems, making it easier for the kids to interpret 4. Answers for every question is explained in detail at the back of the book. This is a big plus about this book

Not was I was looking for.
Very frustrating when you expect to receive nice practice workbook and get to a marketing trap. Cover States vs reality: • Step by step explanations: very weak and confusing explanations. Kids will hardly understand what was really needed to solve a particular question. • Recommended by teacher: I did not find anyone online who recommended this book. • High Quality Problems: mistakes in answer choices and explanations. For this kind of product it priced way too high. There are much better books out there for a half the price.

GREAT!!
I make copies for my cub and we go over them. Then I make more copies to see if he remembers his work. Great purchase for children.. The more you know the better.
