Q: Is it waterproof, can I ride in heavy rain ?

Of course it’s waterproof. But your trousers and shoes end up filthy from the splash. And like a bike, you have to go slower as the road’s much slippier.

Q: If there's a problem can you take it back and fix it

No unfortunately not suited for Air travel due to high capacity lithium battery.

Q: This must have been asked already, but i don’t see the question anywhere. can this be used legally on public roads and footpaths in the uk?

It is currently illegal, however I've never been stopped by police, other citizens though is completely different, it seems elderly people don't like it on the road at all.
