Multi-Port Adapter V2

It's not heavy, but not the lightest either, which is a good thing. The product seems built to last (at least in terms of computer stuff). It works well and looks sharp.

I previously wrote that it does not work. After talking to Apple who acknowledged the problem is the operating system as the same problem occurred with their SD card reader. Initially, I could not even examine the card, but using a trick Apple showed me, I can reboot the iPad with the multi-port adapter and SD card installed, then read the card through the files program; just like you would with a laptop. After following the new procedure, this is a very nice and useful device.

Wow, does this get warm when plugged in. I elevate it to give it some air flow underneath. Otherwise, it works well. I haven't had any problems with connection to a Macbook Air, 2 external hard drives, ethernet, or power source. I'd buy it again. Update: 9/15/22- Satechi is still working fine. No problems.

Love this. Haven’t tried all the ports yet but I love the variety and the multiple USB ports. It has the HDMI port as well so I don’t have to get an additional adapter for my MacBook. Rose gold metal matches rose gold MacBook Air PERFECTLY 😍. A smidge pricey but the brand came highly recommended and I prefer durability over cheap affordable products. Fingers crossed it keeps up the good work!

I read this item was very good and tried it. So far so good. It has all the ports I need and may need. One never knows. The Rose gold matches my MacBook Air perfectly.

Can confirm what others have said - the device seems to run hot. Also, keyboards & mice connected via logitech wireless receivers appear to be temperamental. My machine reports that "PC Isn't charging" - but at least it does not appear to be losing power either. Not sure what to make of this as yet.

Wonderful addition to use with my new Mac. The new gold colour is identical colour match for latest 2018 Mac Air.

Lo uso con mi Macbook air 13 " Lamentablemente, confié en un youtuber y compré esto como algo espectacular ... pero ... al copiar archivos desde la tarjeta sd, o microSD, ¡se calienta de alguna manera! Y de que manera !!! Tan caliente que apenas puedo tocarlo. Solo tengo conectado un monitor Benq de 27 "y un cable USB3 ... Ya usé el puerto Ethernet pero, debido al calor, perdí la conexión. Si fuera hoy, no lo compraría. ------------------------------------- Uso com o meu Macbook air 13" Lamentavelmente confiei num youtuber e comprei este como sendo algo espectacular.. mas... quando a copiar ficheiros do cartão sd, ou microSD isto aquece duma maneira!!!!
