This is THE rv tv mount to get if you’re looking at all the different options within amazon. I’ve tried a couple that claim to be solid, but none compare to this one. I will admit, my tv is a 32”, so it’s bigger than what the manufacturer recommends, but it’s as solid as a rock and I’m not real sure why they only recommend up to 26”. There are a couple of things that let me know this is actually made for an rv, vs just being rebranded for an rv. First, the screws that mount it to the wall are actually short enough that you don’t have to worry about poking through the backside of your wall (most rv’s have 2” interior walls). Second, the mount sits about 3.25” off the wall when in the lock position, therefore allowing you to have it plugged in without kinking the power cord or cable coming out of the receptacle. Third, the lock actually holds the tv very stable from side to side. Most of the mounts on amazon hold the tv from front to back just fine, but they all fail miserably when holding the tv from slightly swiveling from side to side. This one does all of that with no sweat. I would HIGHLY recommend this mount for all of the above reasons. Just make sure your tv has 100mm vesa mounts, or this will not work!

Used to mount a Samsung 32-inch flat screen. Mount was easy to install, very sturdy. Vertical angle adjustable made it easy to get a comfortable viewing angle. The lockable feature is a plus for locking TV in place while traveling down the road. Bought two of these and used one to replace the TV mount that came with the RV. The mount is also relatively light-weight which is a plus when adding items to a travel trailer. After comparing several different mounts this one was the best choice. Unit comes with all the mounting hardware for attaching to the wall and back of TV.

So happy I went with this wall mount! We've gone on four trips since installing my 28" samsung TV to this mount and it has yet to move during travel. We really didn't need to full motion tv mount but I'm glad I got this one. It makes installing the mount and hooking up the tv a breeze. The latching mechanism is solid and makes excellent contact. I really have not worried about this thing flinging open during travel. IT'S SOLID!Instructions and mounting hardware are perfect for RVs and will not go further than needed. I really love this thing and will be purchasing another one for the other locating in my trailer. Buy it, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect bracket that I installed as instructions indicated. I made a wood frame around bracket once installed with TV so that sides don't show hardware. Locking mechanism appears to be a little difficult to engage once TV was mounted on bracket. It does hold secure so that TV will not move or bounce around while traveling.

Bought for our travel trailer. Works great. Very sturdy and solidly built. Happily recommend to anyone.

Recently installed this mount in the bedroom of my (Dutchman) Kodiak 261RBSL Travel Trailer. Install was straight forward and took about 15 minutes total. I checked with Dutchman and when installing they recommend not using anything bigger that 1" to secure. I went to the hardware and got bigger screws for the install and then mounted it on the factory indicated backer plate location. I hung a 24" TV Screen on the mount ( weights 5 lbs probably). The mount feels very secure like I could probably hang off it (but resisted the urge)! I just completed a 1000 mile road trip and Z E R O problems. The mount is very secure and I didn't even bother mounting an additional security sway strap, that is how confident I am. This is the second mount of this brand / type I have installed in this camper and the other has a larger bigger TV monitor- and again zero issues with any of it. PRO TIP: 1.) drill smaller pilot holes when doing your install (2.) make sure the camper is L E V E L !! prior to install LOL!!! Happy travels-

It's sad to see so many images of people that bought "RV Tv Mounts" that are not truly RV mounts because the screws are poking out the exterior wall. This one is definitely made for an RV because the screws are small enough that they stay within the RV wall. Be careful of others that claim to be for "RVs" but are not. I like how to locks so that the TV doesn't move around when traveling. Overall I think this is a great value but most importantly has the correct screws unlike others.

Mount comes with all necessary hardware to install it. It is helpful to have a ratchet with a 1/2” socket, and an easier-to-use hex drive than the one provided in the box. You will also need a stud finder and an electric drill with a 1/8” bit. Drill the holes where the wall bracket is to be placed only as deep as the length of the mounting bolts. Using a hex wrench, separate the VESA plate from the swing arm assembly and install it independently on the back of your TV. Your television (weight limit 22 lbs.) can easily be attached to the swing arm once your mount is bolted to the wall. The manufacturer even includes a mini bubble level. This mount fits VESA attachment dimensions of 75mm and 100mm. Insure your TV has the correct VESA plate holes on the back so that it can be wall mounted.
