Absolutely worth every penny awesome customer service
I've been looking at infrared saunas for a while and they're all around 1500 2000 some 2,500 and they're huge and. You got this big wood box then you got to put it someplace and then i started looking at these portable units I came across this portable one for 300 bucks it took me about 20 minutes to set it up which was fairly easy a little hard stretching the tent around the poles but that's a good thing once you get it together you'd see why that it's got a nice snug tight fit I read some of the reviews on it and people were complaining how it took a long time to heat up this or that it was a bunch of BS I set that thing at 104° and when I first turned it on it was at 68 and it only took about 15 minutes and it was already up to 104 I sat in that thing man did that feel good for probably about 12 minutes and I was just soaking wet sweat and then I hit the off button and slowly open the tent to introduce some outside air to slowly cool down sit there for a while because you are really tired and boy does it feel good all your muscles and aches and pains they just seem to just disappear then walk out of it get straight in the shower rinse off a little bit and it was the best night sleep I've had in a long time it gets rid of all the toxins and dirt and everything else that gets clogged in your pores and it's got a very good health benefit to it I found myself using this thing four to five times a week they say not to but I actually got addicted to the health benefits from it and the good night's sleep and I had it for 3 months and then one day I go to plug it in and nothing happened no light came on or anything it just quit working so I called up the customer service guys and wow within 3 days I had an answer I explained to him what happened and they sent me a whole brand new sauna the control board looks like it was faulty in there and kind of got fried in there and burnt up so I only needed a small part but they sent me a whole brand new sauna I haven't seen that kind of customer service in a long time if you have a place near a bathroom or anything like that whatever you're living conditions are like and you got room for it and you're thinking about a sauna don't even think about it anymore that's why I say never bathroom is I have it in my living room in the corner which I have plenty of room and I just grab it by the outside and it just slides so easily right across the carpet it just Glides and I plug it in at Outlet near the bathroom and rotate it so the door is facing the bathroom about 2 ft away so that way when I'm getting out of the thing I'm. Naked I can walk straight into the bathroom and shower up because you're soaking wet you just sweat it out a lot of toxins and what else gets clogged up in your pores and i can tell you if you're thinking of a sauna it will be the best 300 bucks that you spent. In a long time

Awesome! Better than expected.
LOVE it! We changed gyms a year ago and I no longer have access to a sauna and this portable sauna is phenomenal! I looked at others with steam and had concerns about mold and being able to keep it clean. I prefer this infrared one and I start pouring sweat almost immediately. It gets super hot and much better than the upscale gym dry sauna I was using.

Experience with SereneLife Sauna
Due to recent developments, I have rewritten this review completely to describe the problems that I have experienced with the unit, the eventual support the manufacturer provided and to reflect a higher start rating.I have had the unit now for almost two months and my wife has done 22-30minute saunas in it so that is the extent of our experience with it. The unit heats up well, and unoccupied, it will reach 140-degrees as the specifications state. As soon as a person goes into it, the temperature drops substantially due to the body being a heat load, but in 30-minutes it recovers and gets the temperature back up to 130-degrees. If a person stayed in it long enough, I am confident the unit would climb back to 140-degrees but the person would be baked. So, the unit is heating up well. The unit is reasonably built for a portable unit, so no complain there. One problem that I have discovered is the handheld control unit that displays the internal temperature does not provide an accurate reading. It is off by approximately 15-degrees when the unit is fully heated up and less at lower settings. A work-around for this deficiency is to recognize the temperature display is only a relative indicator of the actual temperature, and to use a good thermometer to check the actual temperature. More on my efforts to get this problem resolved below.A second problem that I discovered has to do with the timer function. I set in a time for the unit to run, and the unit does not enact that setting and instead continues to use the previous setting. A work-around is to set the desired time, wait a moment, turn the unit off and then back on. The new time will then be enacted. An easy work around, and if described in the manual, it would be just fine but no mention of this quirk in the manual. In an effort to resolve these two problems, I contacted the manufacturer but response was so slow so I turned to Amazon for a replacement. Amazon sent me a replacement unit, and rather than disassemble my unit and assemble the replacement unit, I decided it would be simpler to swap out the controller, temperature sensor and handheld device. This is what I did and found the exact same problems existed afterwards. It seems these two quirky problems are just part of the characteristic of the unit. It is not a fault in the unit at all -- just the way it works. If the manufacturer described the unit’s operation better in the manual, most users could adapt to them.Unfortunately, the installation sheet is really lacking. One has to have some intuition to put it together. Many steps omitted and I got it put together through much deduction. The manufacturer did finally come on board and asked what could be done to satisfy me. My first choice was to get these two quirky problems resolved. The second choice was a momentary compensation for having a unit which I believe is not working correctly. The manufacture chose option two which we agreed on, and I am most satisfied with the arrangement. I have a unit that works reasonably well, albeit requires the use of work-arounds, but for a reasonable price too.My recommendation to anyone considering purchasing a SereneLife sauna is to understand the quirks the unit has before buying one. Personally, I think it is good value for the price and the quirks with the work-arounds are not that much of an annoyance.

Worth it
I bought mines Nov of 2022 and it still works amazing. Super durable material. My only advice is to make sure you wipe down the foot pad once you’re done and take out the chair and floor padding to air out
