Great booster seat, if they would fix the tray we could be better parents.
We got this chair to transition our 18 month old from her high chair to the table. I ended up choosing this seat over other highly rated ones because the chair in the picture is the same chair that we have in our dining room, so I figured I'd have no issues with fit (it's the the little things, isn't it?). It took me a while to figure out how to get the seat TIGHT on the chair so there was little to no movement. It still moves a little, but we made sure to supervise her the entire time she was in it for the first week or so until rocking back and forth, trying to climb out, and throwing her weight against the back of the chair wore off (wow, this makes her sound like a wild child). Now she's comfortable in the chair and she actually tries to climb up into it when she's ready to eat.The tray is a little frustrating. I don't mind that you have to use 2 hands to get it on and off, even though that is a change from her high chair. But you have to pull it out at just the right angle or it gets stuck. Some days we have more problems with it than others and we end up modelling some less than stellar language. Oh well, we all have our moments. We've also pushed the chair up against the table without the tray and while the seat is a little low for her to do that right now, it worked just fine. She has plenty of room for her legs to fit under the table and I imagine the seat will last her several years. The only big complaint I have about this seat is that it's low enough that our dogs can walk right up to her and eat her dinner right off the tray. Our dogs are bigger and very food motivated, so it's really more of a dog problem than a seat problem. We just gate them in another room during dinner and avoid the problem. It is easy to clean, which is a fantastic feature. But if you remove the tray and push it up against the table, beware- the slots where the tray hooks in are very tempting for food stashing. We had a blueberry incident very shortly after installing this seat.

This seat really is easy to clean
First, I'll start by saying I am a big fan of the feeding chair as opposed to the high chair. I like the fact that it attaches to an existing piece of furniture and is convertible to a booster as baby grows; as a mom of 3 baby gear that has to be quickly replaced annoys me. I had a similar feeding chair with a fabric cover I used with my first 2 kids and really liked it. By baby 3 it was dirty, tired, and the plastic was giving out. I decided to go with this model because the prospect of not washing a cover intrigued me. Man, I am glad I did. Not only is it easy to clean because of the lack of fabric, but it has other features that live up to the "clean and comfy" name. The removable cover for the tray that can be easily washed or thrown in the dishwasher is awesome, the seat (which is molded as a single piece of plastic) can be super easily wiped down (with no little crevices to collect rotting food), and the protective seat cover is functional in protecting furniture. For the "cons": the seat cannot be reclined and the tray distance from baby cannot be be adjusted. Baby sits very upright, which is not good for younger babies who cannot support themselves. Also, as noted in other reviews it was tough to initially assemble. On balance, however, I am really pleased with how easy it is to keep this seat clean and hygienic. Great for messy babies (which all babies are when introduced to finger foods!) It does not have a lot of bells and whistles, but if convenience and cleanliness are top priorities (as they are for me), you will be happy with this seat.

Love, love it.
I am in love with this booster seat. Like, major heart eyes. Especially since our baby just started crawling and this high chair is basically the only way he'll stay put.Anyway, we have a BIG ten month old and he fits in it perfectly. We were using a Bumbo, but we go to the point that we were basically squishing his thighs into it every time. This booster gives him plenty of space. He's also strapped in really well and I feel like the booster is very securely attached to the chair it's on. I do love, love how easy this booster seat is to clean. There aren't really any cracks or crevices for food to get stuck in. Thumbs up for that. We have it in our eat in kitchen and I love that it doesn't take the space a normal high chair would take. Also, I know that I'm a parent and that's great, but I love that it's more neutral and doesn't scream "WE HAVE A BABY!" the way a lot of other high chairs do. Personal preference, I know, but still.A few things: The tray comes with a... tray cover? thing. It's basically worthless. Maybe if you have a younger baby it would be nice, but my ten month old figured it out right away. It's not attached at all, it just sits in the main tray so as soon as he grabs it, all of his food falls on the ground. Fun for him, not for me. We just use the main tray without the tray cover and it works just as well. Actually, I guess that's the only thing. I love everything else about it. If you're thinking about this one, you should just get it now so that it can be on it's way.
