ECOWITT WN31 Wireless Multi-Channels Thermometer and Hygrometer Sensor, Temperature & Humidity Gauge with LCD Display, Dip Switches to Switch ℃/℉(Not use as Outdoor temperautre and Humidity Sensor)

These units work well. Easy to connect up to the Ecowitt app. You can connect up to several to the app. The temperature appears accurate. The battery life lasts a long time, over a year of use.

Connected right up to my GW1100B. I have this out in my greenhouse to give me some metrics. Been working great.

So I got a gateway and a few multi channel sensors .. created an account online and hooked it all up. All looks good now after a few months, I set email alert every hour. So when humidifier runs low I get an email and know it needs to be filled, when garage gets too cold, I get an alert so I can remove any freezable.. great email alerts system. If there’s anything I’d like to see, it’s an app that works everywhere. The app that it’s used with only works when connected to the WiFi that the gateway is connected to. However the website works anywhere. I don’t like to have a browser on my phone so a separate app that worked like the website would be great. Other than that it’s an amazing system and lets I believe up to 8 channels. You can put one in the freezer and set an alert if the freezer goes above a set temperature, you get an email. Works great. for the price it’s amazing.

Sensor works just fine. It is not as accurate as Ambient Weather sensor when it comes to humidity (not linear in higher, above 50% readings), but temperature was very close (within 0.5 degree C). it paired with Ambient Weather without any problem. It has been working for fine for the last 2 days - outside at -12 C, garage at +5 C, and inside at +22 C with humidity range between 30% and 85%. I bet it is simply the same manufacturer selling non-branded sensors for lower price than Ambient Weather. One start drops for non-linear response for humidity as it cannot be corrected. Low end was about 3% off (within specs), higher, like 50% was off by 10%, while at 75% it was off by 15%.

I couldn’t be happier with this ecowitt sensor. Setup was quick and hassle-free --> it paired easily with my ecowitt gateway (the gateway is what is tied to my home automation). I actually keep this sensor in my freezer to prevent food spoilage incase there is a problem with the power or freezer. The readings are accurate and update frequently, and the build quality feels solid. I especially appreciate how compact and low-profile the sensor is --> it's easy to mount or tuck away without being obtrusive. The battery life so far has been excellent as well. If you're looking for a reliable and flexible way to expand your home climate monitoring, this sensor is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

I purchased two of these units, one to keep upstairs and one for the basement. My upstairs is over our garage so it's always warmer in the summer, colder in the winter. Now we can have an idea of how much different the climate will be, same for the basement. Connectivity was a breeze, just have to change the dip switch if using multiples for the different channels.

The Ecowitt sensors are excellent. They are accurate, reliable, and easy to configure. I now have six of the temperature humidity sensors, and would buy more if I had a place to put them.

This has been the best weather station I've had. It's simple and the network conneciton can be a little fiddly but overall it does the job. Recommended

This sensor is acurate and was recognized directly bythe gateway, 20 seconds after the batteries were inserted. The range is nice (as expected, more than 10 meters within my house (old bricks). Hubitat elevation, through a custom app (easy to install) and with the latest firmware on a C-7 unit is working as expected. I also managed to install a link between an "old" HE C-5 unit with a non-updated firmware (for specific reasons) through node-red. You need to install the Ecowitt app (Android in my case) to recognize the sensors. But, when set, all is local (no cloud) for security and speed. Worth the purchase.

Połączył się z moją stacją sbs-ws-500 zaraz po włożeniu baterii. Jedyne co trzeba zrobić to wybrać kanał. Działa przez trzy ściany i gruby izolowany sufit. Sprawdzony także w tunelu foliowym poza domem. Także tam jest w zasięgu stacji.

Il sensore Ecowitt WH31 è molto preciso!ovviamente è per interno ma io l ho messo in esterno per confrontarlo con altri dell' Oregon Scientific e dell Ecowitt WS69 e devo dire che come temperatura e umidità corrispondono agli altri...sono molto soddisfatto perché tra l altro non ho calibrato nulla così come arrivato l ho installato subito all'esterno con i dati di fabbrica...5 stelle...per quelli che vorrebbero sapere la differenza tra l Ecowitt WH31 e WH32 WH31 sensore che andrebbe usato per monitorare la temperatura interna nulla di più anche se volendo si può usare in esterno WH32 è un sensore per l esterno infatti si può collegare sia su Weather wounderground e in altri siti e tra l altro ha anche le due voci "Feels Like" e "Dew point"
