My dentist advised using these many years ago because I was having difficulty flossing. The sticks clean out between teeth and gently massage gums at the same time. Over the years I had a few times where I broke the sticks clean out between teeth. I eventually git the broken piece out but it wasn’t easy. Hint: put the stick in your mouth too soften it up a little before use. As you use it, make sure it’s going in straight. Paying attention helps. I would not recommend these for anybody younger than teenagers. If you’re careful they work well. I especially like that, unlike flossing, your not pushing debris up and under your gum.These work well for me.
