Pro-Tech 4-8 Pistol Promo Case, Silver, 18-Inch

i bought this case, not for carrying pistols (not that i don't appreciate a good duel now and then), but because it is of the exact dimensions i needed, and reasonably priced. unfortunately it turns out it is NOT, by any standard, a heavy-duty case. it's cheap and flimsy. i have about 12-15 pounds of electronic music equipment in it and almost every time i try to pick it up by the handle, the latches pop open. that sort of defeats the whole function of a carrying case, IMHO (though i can see the comedic value of that feature). i would return this thing immediately if i could but unfortunately since i have removed all of the foam, and more or less committed its contents to it, i have to live with it, so i guess i just shot myself in the foot, so to speak. so much for concealed weapons -- okay i'll stop now. feel free to comment if you have any suggestions for what i should replace this junk with once i get sick of dealing with it... thanks

This case exceeded my expectations. Plenty of room, lots of foam, a tool holder, a carrying sling and the ability to make compartments I the bottom of the case.

Great case for taking multiple pistols to the range and keep them safe and sound during transportation. Very happy with the purchase.

It fell apart on my first outing using it. Just in the truck it fell apart. The people who manufacture it are great to talk to and deal with. I choose to return it and use other cases for my firearms. Perhaps I just had a lemon? Looked great, felt semi hefty. Hardware was fair to ok. I cannot imagine how this type of unit was released for sales in this condition? My usage of it was so gentle as to support my questions.
