These RGB lights are plug & play and look beautiful with the color changing option. Although the lights are water resistant, the transformer/plug is not (as advertised). To keep it in a covered spot, we ended up buying an extension cord from COVOART in order to extend the distance between the plug & the first light fixture. We used a smart plug to set a daily schedule. Once set, the color setting is stored in memory.- The RF controller is built in to the light fixture and not near the transformer/plug as shown in the diagram- I wish the lights were a bit more brighter and had the ability to add more lights or extend the cord length between 2 lights- Would be nice to have the ability to replace a single light fixture if it were to fail.After a few months, we had product issues and COVOART responded quickly and fixed it. I hope the product team takes the customer feedback & makes few design changes but A++ on their Customer Service team. Exceptional customer support.We definitely recommend these lights and intend to add more.

This is my second set. I bought the first one more than 1 year ago and it performs beautifully thru a snowy winter w/o any problems. I connect it to a smart outdoor timer and control on/off time from my cell phone.No need to call a professional electrician. The wire between ech light is long enough that you have lots of options to position where you want the light to shine on. My yard looks great after installing these spot lights. Highly recommend this product.

Just don’t waste your money on these. This is my second time buying these. I bought two sets at the same time so I had lights for both sides of the front. So I’ve wasted money on 4 sets total. The first time they started strobing and we could not make it stop. I figured it was a fluke and because I liked the size and the fact that the wires were continuous and you didn’t have to put connectors between each light I decided to order again.I have had this new set for six months. It is plugged into a junction box that is protected from the weather. It was working one night and then the next night they were just done. There’s nothing to check like a fuse or anything. They just go poof, and stop working.The description says in one spot that it has a lifetime of 30,000 hours and in another spot it says a lifetime of 50,000 hours. Ours has had a lifetime of 1,600 hours. BIG DIFFERENCE! They are easy to install however hiding the wires and making the installation look professional is not easy especially working around existing landscaping.I will never purchase this brand again. I thought having electric ones would be so nice so solar ones only stay on for awhile but no, for the trouble of putting these in and hiding wires it has definitely not worth it. Purchased in March 2024 and now they’re dead in October 2024.

Purchased 3 (warm white) sets in 2020 and all three sets worked around the exterior of my home providing great accent lighting at an affordable price! My neighbors complimented the lights and purchased them as well. Recently they went out with no replacement option for the transformer plug. I purchased new universal 12v 1A plugs and all three sets are on and working well again.

Solar powered is useful in certain settings, but the low voltage dc powered is so much more reliable and allows you obvious additional options for creating the perfect ambiance/vibe that lasts (you get to decide when you want the lights out). These lights are bright, the coverage is more than adequate and you have the flexibility of using a timer (not included). All the lights are wired together, which is a slight inconvenience, however, they provide about 10ft of wire between each one. There is not much to nitpick. Some reviewers complained about the power supply; well, you just have to keep it protected from the elements. Also, if the power supply fails, just snag a universal with interchangeable plugs or anything that specs out the same as the original and you'll be up and running. The price point is lower than pretty much everything out there and the seller, Covoart dirct, is very responsive and answered all of my questions inside of a few hours. Highly recommend.

We got a set of those four years ago and they worked great, nicely illuminating our home at night. After four years a couple of the lights began leaking a bit, and so we replaced them with a new set. Very happy with the,, though.

When they came in we were excited to highlight some of our recent landscaping. The lights were bright, and the color changing feature was great. We were able to change the colors easily. Plugged them into a dusk-til-dawn outlet. They worked great for a couple of months.One evening we wanted to change the color to red for Halloween, and they would not change to any other color than the bright blue they had been on since installation. I replaced the battery in the remote, still nothing. No problem I guess, at least they still came on at night. But we noticed that 2 of the lights had a lot of condensation under the glass lenses.A couple of weeks ago we noticed they were no longer coming on in the evening. We tested the outlet, there is power. But the lights no longer work. All four have condensation under the lenses.Now we need to find replacements as we have friends and family scheduled to visit over the next 3 months at different times. Unfortunately we cannot recommend these, unless maybe you live in a very dry area.The good: They are (were) plenty bright enough when they worked. The color changing feature was nice. When it worked.The bad: They lasted from September 2021 til late October 2021, when the color changing stopped working. Then in late December 2021 they stopped coming on at all.
