Q: How long does the flavor last or how long should you keep the bottle before disposing?

Q: Can be used to mix glitter on cakes?

Do you want to mix and put the glitter on the frosting after the cake has been frosted ? I have said in past reviews that I NEVER use IMITATION anything in cooking (and I used to cater). I would probably make "simple syrup" and mix the glitter in that so that the lemon flavor would not be there. I have a big bottle of the McCormick pure lemon extract and it is clear not yellow like the bottle pictured. Simple syrup would also be clear.

Though I do not use McCormick Pure Lemon extract, I believe that it probably comes in a plastic bottle same as the Imitation Almond extract that I use.
