What's the adjusting disc for?

It doesn't have an adjusting disc. There is a button on/off switch that can be pressed repeatedly to adjust the light intensity. There are screws for adjusting windage and elevation.

Has anyone run this sight on a firearm with a lot of recoil, that also heats up quickly? If so, please share your findings. Thank you!

I have this sight on my Glock 19 Gen4 MOS. Dont know what's going to have more recoil than a handgun, as far as abuse to the sight. I have had no problems even while rapid firing. Don't be fooled by the price. This sight is very well made, functions flawlessly.
