Dorman 626-315HP Engine Heater Hose Assembly Compatible with Select Chrysler / Dodge Models, 2 Pack (OE FIX)

Look.. I know it says it doesn't fit a 2013 Routan. But this is the only part I could find that resembled what I needed. A 2013 Routan is basically a Town & Country anyways. I open the hood of my Routan and it has Chrysler stickers all over it. So I took a chance. And it fit PERFECTLY. Now my 2013 Routan runs great. This compatibility list needs to be updated. Great part for my Routan!

The part is made from high-quality material and feels very durable. Installation was quick and easy. The most difficult part was removing the old one For easier removal of the old part, I recommend spraying WD-40 or a similar lubricant about an hour beforehand. It makes the process much smoother. Product was as stated and worked perfectly

Chrysler decided they would make these hoses out of plastic melt to fit, which is apparently a known issue of cracking. These are made with hose clamps and aluminum fittings. Only annoyance is that the clamps are all angled to where you can't reach it when installed. If you needed to do a field repair these would be horrendous to get to. I flipped all of mine for easy access.

Installation was easy. Fit perfectly, quality product. Saved me money!!!

The hoses weren't exact fit for my caravan. Just make sure you take a picture of when you take them off so you remember which ones go to which. I would recommend buying a clamp hose remover as it made things a lot easier. I picked one up from advance Auto for about 15 bucks. The hoses we're on the car for a bit so I had to use a hose remover tool which helped out tremendously as well.

The cost and quality of these parts are great. It was an easy fix on the van. Only problem was that they did not include a clamp for one of the hoses. I had to wrestle one off the old part and put it on the new one. That did add time and complexity to the install, but overall, very happy. I can't complain about the old plastic one taking 180k miles to go bad.

OEM design is flawed and this really should be a recall item. A two piece plastic part bonded together under pressure and heat. Hmm, really? I'm glad Dorman sells this swap kit to replace the factory OEM design flaw. It's painfully obvious what an issue this is when you start looking around. I was able to swap the hoses with very little effort. Honestly the hardest part is getting some pliers on the old hose clamps and pulling off the old parts. The new hoses come with retaining clips on the new clamps so you literally just pop them on and then release the retaining clip. No leaks with the new parts. It took me about 30min and 20 min of that was getting the old hoses off, specifically the small "wye" connection with the snap clip. Everything else was simple and straight forward. The new Aluminum design that dorman uses will outlast the OEM parts and is a great solution to a flawed design.

Just a few weeks after my 5 year warranty passed, the outlet Y connector on my 2013 Grand Caravan cracked. What a shame! This hose assembly is just what I need to save my family's coziness during this late winter. The hose looks a little less durable with less fibers, compared with the stock hose. 4 out of 5 years would be good enough. Since it comes with a removable Y connector, I can just cut and paste the hose if it bursts. Lower cost on hose. I love the pre-set clamp rings. They made my first DIY installation way easy. Also, replaced the inlet hose just in case. Overall it meets my satisfaction.

these hoses worked well for my 2011 dodge grand caravan , my mechanic said they were a little long but worked fine , its been a week since i change them and they are doing fine ,

The product was poorly assembled. The hoses were moulded correctly, but not arranged on the "Y" connectors in the right position. When I rearranged them to the correct location the clamps that were glued on were now in the wrong place. I had to break free the glue and reposition them. One of the clamps was glued on 1.5 inches from the end of the hose. That would not have worked at all. Delivery was prompt, but this product needs factory assembly improvement. I expect better from DORMAN.
