If you do a lot of tapping holes these can be a life saver

This removed a broken 1/2-13 tap in my Jeep TJ motor mount. They were extremely rusty, one broke off and after drilling it out and retapping the thread, I broke a tap. After much work with punches trying to break apart the tap I gave up on that idea. I could not turn the tap in the hole with the punch because it was broke off too deep in the hole. I tried to use this tool 3 times. On the 3rd time I got it right and the broken tap spun right out. Even if this did not work, It is a nice addition to a tool box. If it saves the day one time, it is well worth it. When something like this happens, you never know what will solve the problem for sure. Having this as an option is definitely worthwhile. In my case, it worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

came very fast. I broke a 3/8-16 tap inside a cylinder head blind hole. after working over an hour with the old ways I just ended up dulling 2 center punches and breaking a third. after receiving this only took 10 minutes to remove without damage to the head or the threads
