Get rid of hiss and background noise on your recordings!
My Canon camera has a pretty noisy preamp so I tried this unit to boost my external mic and reduce hissing on my videos; it works great and it's very easy to set up. I think it's probably the most complete product on the market, featuring every kind of input for microphones (XLRs, 3.5mm jack, 6mm jack) and can mount up to 6 sources! But the most amazing feature is the possibility to independently control the L and R channels and utilize it as a mixer. In this way you can have 2 mics connected and balance each one with it's own level to create a perfect stereo audio. Another cool feature is it works with either SLR cameras and phones/tablets; there's a switch you just have to toggle to enable TRS or TRRS output to your device and you're good to go! The only "negative" side of this product is the size; it's probably a bit too big (although very light) but it's not intended for VLOGging purposes so I guess this is not a problem.

Perfect Interface
If you’re looking for the perfect interface to connect a microphone to your phone then look no further! The saramonic is all you need! It uses a 9volt battery to give phantom power to XLR microphones

Decent, but very difficult to use with a line level input
It’s OK, not great but then again it’s not $400! It could definitely use a DC power jack, and a mic/line switch. Ok, the circuitry would cost another three dollars to make but they could charge an extra $25. And it would be worth it for both sides. Are you listening?

Great tool
I don't know how this thing isn't more popular given it's price. I had it unpackaged and recording in literally a few minutes. I've used it to record guitar and vocals a few times now with various condenser and dynamic mic's with no issues. If it helps at all I've used it with my iPhone 6 on garageband, the built in sound recording app as well as the video recorder with great success. I wish they made a version with 2 mic inputs but this really can't be beat for the price and quick setup. Highly recommended for quick recording of ideas or traveling

Not certain this is for live musicians streaming
Was very noisy and difficult to ever get to work correctly. Not certain if mine was defective but I threw it away not too long after buying it

Filled the bill!
I needed to interface my professional wireless microphone to my iPhone and this worked right out of the box. It works with the downloadable audio recording app, but also works with the iPhone video recording app that came with my iPhone. I found a couple glitches with that. One time, after I used it, I could no longer hear audio from any video recording though the iPhone speakers... but it did work with earphones. I turned off the phone and re-booted and problem went away. This only happened once. If happens to you, re-boot your phone. Also, you must plug in and turn on the adapter before you open the application. Otherwise, iPhone uses the built in mic. If you turn on the unit, plug it in then open the app, it will initialize with the auxiliary microphone. It comes with a convenient Velcro strap which attaches to your tripod or almost anything you can wrap around. It's lightweight, small and relatively inexpensive. For the money, I was very please with this purchase.

Good Idea!
Good idea and claimed features... but... I have yet to get it to work as I want.

Misleading product description implies mix+monitor is done in hardware rather than on your phone.
Edited/Revised review. I was contacted by the seller, concerned I would mislead customers into thinking that monitoring is not functional or supported. So let me be very clear. ALL the brains for this device are still in your phone. If you want monitoring, understand it's not hardware mixing and monitoring. That doesn't happen here. The monitoring you're getting is the same monitoring you would get if you plugged in a set of ear pods with a microphone into the jack. The phone does the work and will mix your mic input with the sound and send it back out. This device is no smarter than your headphones in that regard. That means that the app has to support it AND the latency has to be acceptable. For most Android apps and devices, it isn't. I bought this because NOWHERE in the description does it say that there isn't mixing/monitoring circuitry onboard. It just implies that there is monitoring/mixing going on here with the music coming back from the phone and your voice...misleading customers (Android customers in particular), into believing they can monitor right there on the device and no longer have to worry about Android OS latency or app support for monitoring. So, if you're an Android user what are you getting here? Basically a plug adapter. That's it. Forget the volume dial and forget hardware mixing and monitoring? It's just a plug adapter masquerading as a mixer. *IF* you have an Android device and a recording app that has wonderfully low latency, yes, you'll hear live monitoring, but not with any thanks to the guts of this device, but thanks to your phone mixing the signal and sending it back. Hope this clarifies for everyone.

Works great, clean sound
I'm using two of these Saramonics with Rode NTG mics, and directly sending to the camera. Just remember that the output needs an adaptor to go into the stereo mic input on most DSLRs. The sound is awesome :)

Yes it works but there are significant design problems!
I searched long and hard to find something I could use to attach my XLR-based condenser and dynamic microphones to a Lightning Jack compatible with my iPad, for video recording. This product does this very well but is badly designed! I have five XLR microphones, from different periods and different manufacturer. All of these microphones can be attached to a standard female XLR cable with a click connector. With this Saramonic device, I can only attach two of the five microphones I have and of the two I can connect, one has to be removed from it's custom mic stand connector (so I can use the microphone with this Saramonic device but then can't put this microphone on a mic stand .. kinda defeats the purpose). The design problem is that Saramonic decided to surround the female XLR connector (built-in to the device) with a hard plastic shroud which then prevents a number of my microphones from connecting to the Saramonic female XLR connector. I will have to pay someone to cut away this shroud so that the Saramonic adapter can be used with all of my microphones. What is really discouraging about this purchase is that this device cost significant dollars to acquire. I am surprised that with this slick design, Saramonic seems to have forgotten about the need for the device to be compatible with the devices it wants to support, in the marketplace. I am also sending a copy of this review to Saramonic in hopes that they might revise this design, for the needed marketplace compatibility. Who knows, maybe they will even value my suggestion enough to send me an updated version, once the re-design and re-launch has been completed.

四角い電池駆動
四角い電池 個人的には単三か単四しか家にないので、別途購入必須がネック 購入して数年経ちますが、TASCAM(電池駆動)のほうが使いやすいです。
