Easy install nice light for dark back porch
Perfect fit for our new Minka Air 65” Outdoor ceiling fan. Super easy plug and play install. Twists onto bottom of fan. Color of light is warm white not daylight bright white. More than enough for back porch. Highly recommended.

Nice fan, light keeps turning on
this was so easy to install and provides great light, but it keeps turning on?! I have to turn off the light 10 times a day. I'm requesting a replacement to see if it's this one or a problem with the fanUpdate - we really like this fan. It turns out the fan/light was on the same frequency as a light/fan upstairs in one of the kids rooms. So turning the light/fan OFF downstairs would turn ON the fan/light upstairs. Thankfully the electrician figured it out.

Too expensive
Pros : looks nice. Works as intended.Cons: ridiculously expensive at $100. Build quality and features don't warrant this high price.Unfortunately this is the only option if you want a light with the minka aire fan. I didn't find any aftermarket parts. $100 is way too expensive for a bolt on light. Also the product description doesn't indicate the light warmth level. I was looking more for 3000k warm yellow but this is more like 5000k daylight. Sadly I had no choice but to purchase.

Customer service is amazing
Ordered 3 of these light kits from Delmar Fans and Lighting. Took me a while to be able to finish the project but as luck would have it the last light kit would not mount up to the fan. It looked exactly the same as the other 2 light kits, and, in fact, the other 2 light kits installed on all 3 fans without issues while i was troubleshooting the problem. Frustrating to say the least. I contacted Delmar Designs through Amazon and Tammy with Delmar Designs helped me out. She contacted Minka fans for me and I had a replacement light kit on my front porch within 2 days. The replacement light kit installed on the fan without issue! Project done!! Thank you Tammy and Delmar Designs.

Prompt and accurate
Item was an exact, manufacturer supplied fixture to mate with the fan I recently purchased. This fixture was priced better than the manufacturer.
