You can't beat real leather when it comes to belts. I got this belt after returning a well rated fabric dipping belt due to the fact that it never felt secure and felt like it would slide down. This belt is well made and has nice padding on the lower back and the back side is a rough sueded leather. This belt isn't going anywhere. The only drawback is that natural leather takes time to wear in and conditioning it is a must. I put several coats of leather conditioner on it right out of the box and I will be doing it several times a day. This is something you must consider as leather conditioner is not cheap and will add to the overall cost. This wasn't an issue for me because I had some lying around in the garage. The belt is usable right out of the bag but it has a VERY stiff feel and it will take time to get it to the point where it is soft and comfortable like the ones in the gym, but in my opinion the wait is well worth it. This belt will be used by my sons when they are old enough. The chain is good quality and is 24" long/short. So it would be a stretch to put some 45 pound plates on it. It comes with a spring clip on the end so adding more chain is possible. Overall, I like the belt but if you are looking for something soft and ready to use right away and are short on time and money I wouldn't recommend this belt. My belt came with free lifting straps too. A welcome bonus.

Belt is great for what I need it for but the chain could be longer so I could fit more plates on it. You can only get 2x45 plates before its overloaded.

This belt can hold two 45 plates through the center hole. It is also very comfortable. I actually have the upper half of the padded side under my shirt so it doesn't tug on the fabric of my shirt while doing dips. Even with the belt on my bare skin it is very comfortable.

Great and heavy duty belt. Very comfortable. Holds a lot of weight.

Good belt made well. It's comfortable to use, the chain and clip are good quality. Probably will never break. Very happy with it.
