BIOMAC Probios Microbiotic Gel for Horses, 30gm

This is great product for herbivorous species who may suffer from GI distress as the result of environmental distress, injury or illness, or dietary changes. I have purchased several tubes for my sick bunny, Percy, at the suggestion of his specialist veterinarian, and I've been very happy with it. The dose is a little tricky to work out (I would suggest consulting with your dvm about dosing) since it is intended for larger animals, but I personally noticed an increase on Percy's appetite, an increase in fecal pellets production, and a seemingly significant improvement in his disposition and quality of life. He is, and always has been, on high quality food, but recent health problems have stressed his poor system, resulting in a near-stasis situation. Giving this to your pet is a bit like eating yogurt while you're on antibiotics - it won't cure anything, and it might not help everyone, but then again it just may! It sure helped Percy ☺

Have used this product for decades - back when I could buy it for $4.99! I have used it after deworming, before trailering, in what could be stressful situations, and it has always seemed to help my horses to keep from colicing, etc. I will continue to be a repeat customer.

I use this for my dogs to help with their glads. Still working after several months. Just make sure you put a paper towel down in the fridge when you store it. Leaks a bit.

I give my horse this probiotic to keep his digestive system in balance and healthy. The tube's applicator makes it easy to give his dose. My horse seems to like the flavor and licks his lips after I give him his dose!

Although this is a equine product my Vet recommends it for my dogs. They love the taste and I have no trouble getting them to lick it off my finger. It appears to do its job well, especially since one of my dogs has ulcerative colitis and that's specifically who I buy it for. Warning: this product should be refrigerated.

One of my dogs has always had a very sensitive stomach since we got her at 8 weeks old. Also very finicky about her food. Any little thing could set off diarrhea. Our vet recommended a powder form of probiotics, which helped, but was a fight to get her to eat it no matter how much we tried to camouflage it. Then a visiting vet suggested Probios. Amazing!! My dog laps it off my finger with no problem! So much easier than the powder form.

If you have a dog or horse-if they won't eat- give a dose of this. Half a syringe for a 1000 lb horse. Doesn't taste bad. Our Colicky horses will not colic if given very early in not feeling well. Also, we give when using wormers. So far so good.
