Cuts off some of the state
I guess it depends on which state you are in regarding laws on covering up lettering on a license plate. I like this frame and I did go ahead and leave it on my vehicle for now. The FIRE portion of the frame is so far down that it does cover up the top half of the word for my state. I am in Texas and the top half of TEXAS is covered which is technically illegal. I'm unfamiliar with the laws in the other states which is why I am not giving it a lower rating. However I still like it which is why I gave it 4 stars.

RIP OFF
I am unhappy with this item. I purchased this in September but held it as a Christmas gift for my son. Today is April 8th and the red portion is losing its color. It is not holding up to the elements. When I contacted the seller they said they do not warranty after it has been put on the vehicle. This is not right! I have 2 different license plate frames that are made with the same type of material, one is over a year old and the other is 8-10 years old with no problems at all. I would not buy another one, and I would not buy from this seller if they do not back their products.
