STS with Clear Base and Ballistic Bag

What a way to recycle. I love it. and bought more for gifts. Itried to plumb two together on a pipe and when I shot the first one it blew the valve stems off ffom the cuncussion. I e-mailed the company to see if I could get parts and the CEO Ralph Hoetger said he would take care of it.Word of caution when you use them. let them stand on their own because they will not be in the same place after the shot. The only difference between men and boys is the noise of their toys ! ! ! Q

Really fun!The plastic base WILL break after 2 uses, but the price difference for the metal one is ridiculous (at least when I checked)I ended up buying 3 more with the plastic base and after they broke, replaced the base with some leftover metal scraps. (much cheaper than buying the metal base ones)Be sure to use hearing and eye protection when filling 'em up, had one Pepsi 2L broke at a much lower pressure than the Coke ones.And don't trust the bottles, a 2L from Fanta won't handle the same pressure as a Pepsi or coke one.

Great fun with 2 liter plastic bottles filled to 105psi. The BOOM is equivalent to a 12 gauge shotgun blast. They triggered very easily with a .177 pellet gun and never ceased to bring a smile to the faces of my guests. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the plastic base is very flimsy. After we shot a 2 Liter Coke bottle, the blast snapped the plastic base in two! I would have preferred to have seen this part in steel for durability sake.UPDATE: I'm adding a star to my review! I was contacted personally by MegaBOOM and they are sending out a new replacement base made with new indestructible polycarbonate! I love a U.S. company that stands behind their product

Worked OK for a couple shots, then started to leak.

Disappointed. I tried this with a small Coke bottle and also a small Sprite bottle, neither of which held air pressure. I pressurized the bottles to 115 pounds and by the time I got back to 100 yards and shot they had leaked down. When I shot the bottle and stand simply fell over, no BANG or anything exciting. At first I thought I had hit the stand or just barely hit the edge of the bottle and it fell over, but the bottles were all hit and an in and out hole was evident. Much more exciting if you don't bother with pressurizing the bottles, just fill the bottles with water, put the cap on and fire away!

I purchased this and the accessory for the 500ml bottles. It is fun to shoot however the boom is way over exaggerated even using my .30 FX Bobcat and 2 liter bottles at 105psig. I added flour to the bottle for a cool effect but still not as grand as expected. The base is made out of thin plastic which shattered with one fateful hit from my son. The entire unit was ruined. For a younger shooter the pop is cool, but if they shoot as good as my son then I suggest putting the base behind a metal plate so only the upper 3/4 of the bottle is exposed.

I cant express how much my family loves this simple yet very effective device!!! I have no idea how to explain how well this simple device works, but WOW let me tell you,we no longer toss out soda bottles or water bottles in the trash before we blow the H--- out of them. I would never had guessed just how loud a cheap small water bottle could explode.( using the small bottle adapter ). trust me, it will wake the neighbor hood!!!... if your brave enough after that, try the full sized 2 liter soda bottle!!! BIG DA- BOOOOOOM!....I had neighbors from over a block away asking WHAT THE H---?.....Hats off to the inventor...oh and just a quick note...We are not even using high powered rifles on these... we are a fun loving pellet gun shooting family. And these opened up a HOLE NEW CAN OF WHOOP A-- of fun...!!!

The only thing I didn't like about it that there not made in the U.S.A anymore. Like the one I got at the local gun store. They were about the same price too! no savings on customers part of the deal. But it Works really well The Thin wall adapter is a MUST have if you want really loud booms from water bottles . I have 2 already and need more.
