Feadog Brass D Tin Penny Irish Whistle In Green

Feadog makes a good whistle. This is their basic model, which is good for anyone starting out but can be made to sound even better by a skilled player. These whistles are known to be pretty sensitive to breath pressure so if you struggle with that for some reason you may want to look for something a little more stable. I used these to teach my children breath control. They have that traditional "chiff" that many players love, but if you don't then I would find something else. Overall a great little whistle for everyone especially for the low investment.

I also have the brass version. The paint does not feel as nice as the bare brass.

It is very easy to play and I was able to play tunes very quickly. I am still practicing, but I am enjoying it. I only wish it would play in the key of G. Other than that, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Love this whistle. The color is fantastic (green). It’s made well, and sounds great.

The overall design and structure of the Whistle are good, but the sound was nowhere near the quality advertised. Not really worth the money.
