CRC Standard Mathematical Tables and Formulae, 30th Edition

The tables within this book has assisted me in completing many physics problems.

This CRC 30th edition is an excellent modern replacement for the 25th edition. It is a well organized book with over 800 pages grouped into ten chapters, a list of notations, and an index. It includes sections on: algebra and discrete mathematics; analysis, geometry, and continuous mathematics; probability and statistics; special functions; financial analysis; scientific computing.As a former teacher, computer programmer, systems analyst,and financial systems analyst I appreciate the breadth and depth of the mathematics contained.This publication is an excellent tool that complement my use of my graphing calculator. This is a great reference book for anyone who deals with a lot of math- I got it for the integral tables- and who doesn't have time to work some of the more tedious equations i.e. integration by parts on sines, cosines, and exponentials. It's not exactly-pocket sized, so you won't be carrying it around with you, but it makes a great addition to any well-stocked work space. Math hasn't changed a whole lot in the past decade, so the older editions are a great value while still containing just about everything you'll need.

This is an excellent resource for any math or physics undergraduate or graduate student. I couldn't have done without it. I've found 2 small typos in nearly 10 years since I purchased my first copy of this book, but they weren't major.

Both copies were in very good condition. It is a resource book, so it is exactly what was needed for our use.
