FabtechFTS7333 Performance Shock Absorber, Chrome

I noticed a loud clanking noise coming from under the bed of my 1998 Chevy C1500 so I inspected it and found that the top eyelet bushing on my passenger side shock absorber had deteriorated and got chewed up. This was causing the eyelet to bounce around when going over bumps, etc. I have a Fabtech lift kit installed and the FTS7333 shock that was on there was completely black so I ordered another one and it fit perfectly, looks great, and performs as it should. No more noise!The shock arrived without a band around it but it stayed compressed, I was told this is normal. Lots of hardware (as pictured in ad) for various truck models and bolt diameters included. You may require a hydraulic press or C-clamp to push in the cylindrical metal eyelet bushing part. That’s what I used and it got the job done. WD-40 is your friend.

The shocks are are ok. Personally I would like to go with a different brand but I have a fabtech 6" and seems to be my only option.

I bought these shocks for the front of my truck and once I received them they are not the ones for the front they are for the back and that kind of screwed me since I needed front and back shocks I kept them and installed them but I have to sell the other back shocks I have ordered and buy the front ones but will not buy anymore from Amazon I will be buying my parts from O'Reilley's auto parts.

Works with 6" lift. Shock Body is longer than stock. Good quality

Installed in a 2004 F250 with 5.5 in lift. Perfect fit, works well.

I received my order on time. Although I thought I ordered two front shocks. Seems the picture and the fine print are two separate things. I was waiting for the rest of my order to arrive but they bundled two of my orders into one. Giving me one rear shock and front shock. Shame on me for not reading the details.
