Loigtech stand behind their products
So I had a pair of Alienware AW920H and though they aren't a bad set of headphones initially - they ended up being the worst set of headphones for the money I have ever bought. They are a nightmare when the battery runs out, a nightmare for dropping connection and a nightmare for design as the headphones sockets worked loose of the headband - I had to argue with Alienware to get a warranty replacement and will never buy anything from them again. You also cannot leave a review on Alienware website if you have had a poor experience.I bought these as they were less than half the price and seemed to have very similar features - apart from active noise cancelling. The arrived and are very comfortable, the headphone pods have a nice 105 degree rotation to fit most heads. The sound quality is very good for the price-point, they are easy to connect, easy to charge and easy to use.I already had the g-hub software for my keyboard so integration was very easy. All-in-all a great set of headphones. When the battery runs out you can use them wired whilst charging so there are no issues there either.Downside - I have had the power button issue that a fair amount of people have had. I had to tap or wiggle the power button to get audio from both channels.I reported it to Logitech and they replaced the headphones on warranty without a quibble. This has been my complete experience with Logitech so far - they back their products with amazing support and is why I keep going back to them.I would say a fair price is between £80-100. I had my old set before replacement for approximately 20 months and bearing this in mind they do represent really good value for money for a wireless headset.Whether you buy this set or not - DO NOT touch the Alienware headset - for what is sold as a premium item, it is appalling. This item is miles better in comparison.

Lasted me 4 years
Overall they are great headphones, but are known for issues.+ Great sound quality+ Virtual surround is one of the best I've experienced and I have had five different 5.1 and 7.1 headphones previously. People complain that it's "not real surround", but not everyone can afford or set up proper surround in their rooms, so get real. Honestly, despite it being virtual surround it sounds absolutely glorious. Once you experience it you won't ever want to come back to stereo.+ Great customization options+ Great quality mic+ Extremely easily replaceable battery in case it died on you, you can buy one on Amazon or wherever+ Speaking of battery, it lasts between 6 and 9 hours, depending on usage.+ Charging is quick, despite older microUSB port. Well, not ultra fast charging like today's phones, but quick nonetheless- Software can cause troubles, although I only had minor ones, some people couldn't get it to even run on their machines, so try running G Hub on your machine first to see if it even runs.- customization can be a bit troublesome, for example not all game profiles have surround on by default- Cushions will eventually start peeling, but that's expected. Ear cushions can be replaced.- Sound can go very quiet and weird for no reason after a short period of not using them. One known remedy is to knock a few times on the headphones (GENTLY!!! or you are risking ruining them).- People complain about the grip on their ears. It gets better (looser) with time and I didn't really have a problem with that. To me they were comfy and everyone else should probably take a few breaks during their gaming sessions.- They need a moment to load a profile when you turn them on, so the headset buttons revert to their default functions for a few seconds after turning on. I hate that, but hey ho.Served me well for four years of mostly light gaming until right headphone died and despite attempts to revive it I concluded it must have been the speaker itself that gave out. I couldn't properly test that (logitech made sure to make it unable to even access the speakers directly without ruining the headset, those utter bottom feeders) and I'm not experienced enough to do more advanced repair attempts.I bought them on sale (back then four years ago it was £75, not bad actually) and recently bought them again on another sale (£95 this time, corporate greed), because I can't fathom giving full price of £150 for them. They are decent, sure, but not THAT good, especially when I compare my previous headsets' quality to price ratios.I'd say for £75 four years of service is actually more than decent for the quality of the product. Let's see how long current £95 headset lasts.Do I recommend them? When they are on sale, yes. Full price? Heck nah, don't reward greedy behaviour.
