Amazon Basics Down-Alternative Mattress Topper Pad with Microfiber Shell - Twin, White

Looks great! I just washed and dried it according to directions and it looks fine. I will be using it tonight for the first time to replace, or even just add on top of my old mattress topper, which was coming apart. The only thing I wish for this item was that it was made in USA, instead of China as it says on the item’s label. The whole time I was trying to find a moderately priced topper/pad or bed cover. Long story short, I kept coming back to this one after searching online for a few hours. Yeah! Only a few hours ;) I will update my usage of it and how it feels, etc., shortly. Thank you! UPDATE: — After 3 nights rest on this new topper/pad, I can finally get a feel for how it is. It feels... soft,plush, comfy, etc. I don’t know ow about sleeping on a cloud...whatever that means haha. But, this definitely “feels” like quality and my bed looks and feels better for it. Yes, I believe it made me feel warmer too. I use flannel type, CuddleDuds sheets (100% polyester) and this new topper helps keep in warmth I can tell as other reviewers suggested. I’m not so sure how this will hold up in a Southern California summer, but this inexpensive topper/pad really hit the mark.

I've got a memory foam gel top mattress that i love but the older i get the more i notice hard/ firm bothers my back. I wasn't expecting much from this, more mattress protection then anything. But i was wrong, this is amazing. I noticed instantly how soft it was. It cushions my whole body in such a pleasing way. The great thing about this besides the feel, is that they made it so well. Most types of toppers only hug the mattress. This one gives you a good 4 inches under the mattress so it's secure. No slipping off the corners! I will be buying this again when it's needed.

This is a great value. I have owned so many of these over the years from down filled to synthetic and all brands . I have spent hundreds of dollars from down filled and all were good. This is an excellent light weight no frills comforter.Paired with a nice cover and you have a great combo I like the fact that it is light and doesn't feel hot or heavy at night. I have these on guest beds and now on my bed and am very happy. Not sure I could justify paying hundreds of dollars for feather filled at this point in my life.

I have a twin bed I put this on, it's very comfortable and it stays fluffy even after 2 weeks, but it keeps pulling off the bed when you get out . I'm guessing because the elastic is to loose. Twin beds are hard to get sheets and pillow tops to fit and stay in place.

The material is made of a fabric blend and comes vacuum sealed in a bag. I purchased a full size and it fits well with my futon. The fitted corners are stretchy. Laid out on my bed it mimics a Japanese-styled comfort cover I’ve seen online, but for half the price. The thickness I bought is 2” and combined with a foam topper, my bed feels like a massive, heavenly pillow, but with the back support I need since I sleep on the floor. I’m waiting on a bed frame in the next week but this is a good, affordable cover. I don’t have issues with it feeling too hot. It’s very comfortable.

I have been buying the same mattress pad for years, and it had problems, such as not wanting to stay on the mattress. Also it was almost as thin as tissue paper. It had over 6,000 great reviews, but- I thought I needed a change. So I started looking at mattress toppers. I have never been disappointed with Amazon Basics, and the one I ended up buying was only $7.00 more than the original mattress pad. WOW! This topper is so much thicker! And the comfort is wonderful. Just letting those out there know that this mattress topper takes the cake over just a plain mattress pad. And it’s worth the extra small bit of money. I am sleeping through the night which has not been the case before. You learn something new every day (or night).

I read a variety of reviews before making this purchase. Many people said it made their bed more plush and less firm, I only saw maybe a handful that said it was thin and not as supportive or soft as they wanted. I decided to get it and I have slept on it for two nights and I am considering returning it. While it is soft to the touch, it is thin and unsupportive. I have a memory foam mattress that is rather firm (zinus green tea from amazon) and maybe this type of topper does not have the same effect on this type of mattress. Perhaps it would be more effective on a hybrid or spring type. It was super disappointing to lay on it and feel virtually no difference. After two nights, I’ve woken up with the same discomfort from the firm mattress. If you’re looking for it to soften a memory foam, invest in a different one.

I got this because my mattress is getting older and therefor more firm and worn out, but I can't fork out the money for a new mattress at the moment. I have scoliosis and kept waking up with my back hurting. This mattress topper made a huge difference! My bed feels so much softer and more comfortable now, and I don't wake up with back pain as much anymore. My partner says he also sleeps better and feels the difference. I like how plush and cool the material is. The fact that it's machine washable is also a plus. I also like that it's fitted, so it stays put all night.

D'un confort absolu et tout en étant au chaud pour l'utilisation des matelas queen ou double dans des roulottes. C'était ke but. Je ne regrette appsolunent pas mon achat. Je le recommande fortement. Peut être autant utilisé sur matelas de lit dans la maison. Produit de très haute qualité. Très satisfaite.

I noticed on Amazon that there are a couple different varieties of this AmazonBasics topper. I am very happy with this polyester version. Originally, I had ordered the cotton version which claims to have a “cotton shell” and that the primary material is “cotton.” However, the only part of that entire mattress topper that is actually cotton, is this thin little top layer, and the entire rest of the product is syntheti polyester, yet the price difference was significant. I went ahead and purchased this polyester version instead and I saved a great deal and am very happy. It adds a softness to the bed and reduces the heat from my old, hard foam mattress, which I absolutely hate. It absorbs so much body heat that it might as well be insulation material. It is hard and uncomfortable. Just horrible. I know we should buy a new mattress, but in the meantime, I just needed something to temporarily fix our current mattress and this seems to have really worked. The bed is much softer and the heat problem is greatly reduced to tolerable levels. My husband who doesn’t even see a problem with our current mattress says that he really likes the softness that this topper provides, which is surprising because I didn’t even think he would notice or care either way, but he said it was good and he liked it very much. I would recommended going with this polyester topper.

I was staying in a place with a really hard bed which was affecting the quality of sleep and causing back pain. This mattress topper helped greatly and I highly recommend it.
