It is easy to get to work and really helps find studs and electrical wires. It at least give a much better shot at getting it right.

I purchased this overpriced stud finder, to replace me old antiquated one. It came really fast. But after I downloaded their app, attaching the devise to my phone, and calibrating it. I attempted to use it and it DOES NOT WORK AS DESCRIBED!!! Sliding it across the wall, or in circles shows nothing below the surface. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. Buy a real stud finder, or a boroscope and save yourself the pain of a NON-RETURNABLE ITEM!!! Now I have a $100 Paperweight.

You cannot use this product without clicking on a suspicious link in an email which looks designed to defeat your phone security without the app asking for the permissions.

I've used my Walabot at least once a day for the last five years. It save me a lot of time when looking for wiring and water hoses/pipes I can't see before doing a demo of a home or business..I used to use it before owning my own business. The boss there never could figure out how I was figuring out where things in walls were without checking out tge blueprints, which wastes time running out here or there breaking away from the job when you could be done..Old tech meet New Tech...Sure, it takes a moment to get to know it and I suggest using a 6' cord instead of the 4" supplied jumper that hooks your phone up to the unit. Makes it much easier and increases productivity..Get one and enjoy!!

I bought Walabot DIY directly from Walabot in Mid January 2017 and it has never worked and support was never able to get it to work for me. They signed me up as a "Beta Tester" but even with feedback it never worked. I spent $214.99 and to this day it will not even Calibrate. I guess it was intended to be a paper weight. Contacting support after 6 month warranty ran out resulted in an offer for a discount on a new one.It originally had a metal plate to stick on the back of your phone which blocked wireless charging, they sent me a "Gel Pad" which was more like "Alien Tape" you see for sale now, but I had to buy a cheap case to stick onto that because it doesn't want to come off easily. Problem with that is I upgraded from my Note 4 phone to the Note 10+ and it has a different case. I remove the old case and bought an cheap case for the Note 10+ (which I stuck on with Alien Tape) so I could use that but it has never been able to complete the "Calibration" since I changed phones.

Don’t like
