This is a very neat enclosure and works well with my ADATA 128GB m.2 sata ssd. It's quite fast and a neat way of backing up data. I have one small moan about the assembly. There are no instructions and it looks deceptively simple when you view the assembly and the diagram. When I moved the nut from its installed position to the last position (for a 2280 size m.2 ssd), it looked as though you screw the nut in from the bottom and then screw down the ssd from the top. Not so. The two screws meet and prevent the ssd from being fixed tightly, thus preventing the whole assembly from sliding into the enclosure. I eventually worked out that you had to fit the nut to the end of the ssd by pushing the ssd into the groove in the nut. That fixed the ssd to the nut which was then screwed tight from the underside of the main board. This seems counter-intuitive. Other m.2 boards (wifi, ssd) simply screw onto the nut from above. Anyway it works. If I've got it wrong, I'm sure another user will comment. Edit 28Dec 19: Suddenly the whole enclosure no longer works. The enclosure appears to be OK (light on) but the m.2 ssd does not work. I cannot tell where the fault originated. Was it the enclosure; was it the USB C port; was it the ssd itself? I don't know. My other similar enclosure from different manufacturers works just fine on my Mac Mini.

Took it for backup purpose, it's been a while still works fine..

It has everything you need and more, comes with a small screwdriver, screw and 2 wires. Very good buy and very cheap. Beware that it does not work with M.2 NVME disks.

Will NOT read M2-NVME or SATA, it made my M2 SSD get VERY HOT that's all. Put same SSD in a competitor model, works first time. Too late to send back now as I have only just arrived home and tried it.

opened case and installed M2 2TB SSD, with view to cloning 250 GB drive as replacement. Case was extremely hot after a few minutes. When installing the drive it was extremely hard to push home. When I connected tp USB port, tried USB-C and USB ports the drive was not recognised. I tried diskpart, disk management, Acronis True Image and Easy Partition Manager, the two former although saw the drive would not initialise, disk part saw the drive as 987 GB not 2000GB. the later two applications didn't recognise the drive at all. I attempted to use on two laptops and a computer the effect was the same on all three.

Easy to fit drive in enclosure, fast transfer speed and excellent value.

Holds an m.2 ssd well and provides it with some protection to use as the boot drive on s raspberry pi 400 instead of the less reliable micro SD cards.

Il case è di ottima qualità, solido alluminio ben rifinito e molto elegante con il suo nero opaco e i bordi argentati lucidi a specchio. La dotazione è ricca, due cavi di connessione (uno usb normale e l'altro usb-c), due mascherine laterali, dove si connette il cavo (una penso di scorta), due staffette interne per adattare tanto le memorie lunghe tanto quelle corte. Trovate anche un pad di gel termico per aiutare la dissipazione, poichè questo tipo di memorie tendono a scaldare un poco. Che dire, visto il prezzo sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso, non esiterei a ricomprarla e/o a regalarla a qualcuno.

He probado el producto y funciona perfectamente. He copiado al ordenador de sobremesa archivos y fotos que tenía en el disco de un portátil que se me ha estropeado. Además, que ahora me sirve como disco duro externo. La carcasa es de aluminio y tiene un tamaño reducido, por lo que es ideal para llevarla en el bolsillo. En ella el disco SSD SATA está protegido. La única pega es, como se ha señalado en otros comentarios, que cuesta un poco atornillar la tapa delantera, pero es un inconveniente mínimo, por lo que es recomendable totalmente su compra.

Ich betreibe das Gehäuse mit einer Crucial MX500 250GB (CT250MX500SSD4) M.2 SATA SSD. Dieser M.2 Speicher hat einen „B & M-Key“ – M.2 Speicher mit nur einem „M-Key“ (PCIE NVMe) funktionieren NICHT mit dem Gehäuse!!! Dies steht schon in der Beschreibung, wird aber wenn ich hier so manche Rezession lese gerne übersehen! (Alles Mist – das Gehäuse funzt nicht mit meiner Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe – 0 Sterne!) Das Gehäuse ist stabil gebaut – ok – die Schrauben sind etwas weich – aber dafür sind noch ein zweites paar Schrauben und der passende mini Schraubendreher dabei. Eine Anleitung gibt es nicht. Ist aber auch nicht notwendig, Wer sich so ein Gehäuse kauft sollte meiner Meinung nach wissen was er tut. Die beiliegenden Kabel sind ok! Nicht zu lang – nicht zu kurz und schön schmal. Die Montage ist in wenigen Minuten erledigt. Dann muss die nun externe M.2 SSD noch in Windows Initialisiert werden. Zur Geschwindigkeit: Ich habe zwei USB 3.0 Sticks zum Vergleich genommen und ein etwa 30 GB großes Datenpaket von einer Samsung SSD drauf geschrieben und gelesen. Sandisk SanDisk Ultra 32GB = Durchschnitt Lesen 73,8 MB/S – Durchschnitt Schreiben 15,8 MB/S Sandisk SanDisk Extreme 64GB = Durchschnitt Lesen 115 MB/S – Durchschnitt Schreiben 110 MB/S Externe M.2 SSD = Durchschnitt Lesen 244 MB/S – Durchschnitt Schreiben 140 MB/S Als alles in allem ein gutes Gehäuse mit einem fixen Controller! Ganz klar eine Kaufempfehlung!!!

Es un buen producto, cumple su funcion sin problemas. El unico defecto es que la carcasa que trae no es de la mejor calidad, los tornillos son dificiles de ajustar. Recomiendo comprar la version sin carcasa o usarlo sin ajustar ya que en mi caso los tornillos no entran bien.

Dies ist ein externes Case für eine normale Sata SSD 2280 oder ähnliche. Es ist nicht für NVMe geeignet, worauf der Hersteller jedoch hinweist. Daher vor dem Kauf unbedingt prüfen ob die eigene SSD den angegebenen Spezifikationen entspricht. Wenn dies der Fall ist, ist die Installation der SSD in das Gehäuse relativ problemlos und schnell erledigt. Wie auf den Bildern angegeben befindet sich ein Heat Pad ,Diverse Schrauben, ein Werkzeug anbei. Alles ist hervorragend verarbeitet, und macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Die von mir verwendete Samsung EVO 860 lief auf Anhieb.Die Wärmeentwicklung hält sich erfreulicherweise auch in niedrigen Grenzen. Das ganze ist sehr sauber und schnell. Was will man mehr. Jederzeit wieder. Absolute Kaufempfehlung
