Q: I have an elderly cat I would like to get something I don't have to wash, as I do currently. Would this work for her?

Definitely, these are the best disposable pads I've found. I also have a senior cat who has reverted to pee-ing standing up instead of squatting (she has arthritis in her hips and, in addition, is one of the short-legged breeds). I actually put one on the floor under the litter box and then tape another one to the wall (half of an extra large one is on the wall, the rest is level to the floor and partially under the litter box. I use painter's tape which doesn't damage the wall and have found this works very well. One of my favorite things about these pads is that they don't shred or fall apart like others I've tried. I, too, used to use washable ones, but am much happier with these disposables.

Q: Have these pads back to normal? I have read many reviews from last year that they were not as good as before.

I have these pads. They are thicker than any other pads I have tried and are better leak proof than other pads. However, they will leak if urine sits on pad for longer periods of time. So I buy cheaper thinner pads and I keep a cheaper pad underneath these thick Four Paws wee wee pads. That way if I am away long enough for the pee to leak thru the Four Paws wee wee pad, the cheaper pad underneath keeps it from going thru to the floor. Then I just toss both pads. If it doesnt leak thru I just put new Four Paws wee wee pad on top of the same cheaper pad that is already there. This system works for me. Only problem I occasionally have is if they pee on blue plastic edge, then the pee rolls onto floor. Luckily this just happens every once in awhile.

Q: what are the dementions of these pads

22"x23" and there are 30 quilted pads

Q: The description says XL but the box's image is the smaller size???

My Xtra Large Wee Wee pads are 28" x 34". I used to buy the 22" but was using more to cover the area, so I switched to this size.
