Our Amtico is 20 years old now, and not surprisingly is covered in scratches, which attract dirt. Would this and new dressing help with this issue?

The floor stripper is essential to get rid of the old layer which gets dirty with time. You'll be surprised how much brighter the floor looks after the stripper has removed the old layer. Then, the new dressing will look great. Possibly you'll need two or even three coats of the new dressing in places to build up a good coating.

Dribbles of hand sanitiser left white residue on my amtico floor which I cannot remove. Will stripping floor lift this.

Could anybody tell me the approximate floor area that 1l would cover please?

I used a 1L bottle on my kitchen floor that hadn't had any attention for 17 years. The floor area was approximately 25sq metres, and I used it all. Excellent stuff, but be careful not to put the bottle on anything such as granite worktops etc.. It has taken the polish off my granite top but as it is black it doesn't really show. Make sure you wear gloves - its lethal on your skin.
