Fits old Blitz 5gal metal jerry can.
It fits an old Blitz 5gal Jerry can with fine female threads. The outside connector fits the spouts (gas not diesel) I have from plastic 5gal can too BUT, the threads are too short on the adapter, so it won't seal up. If you double gasket it, it will work too. I just wanted something I could pour clean into a funnel with, and this will work. Even better if I get one of the pour spouts to work. I saw a few comment that it didn't work on Specter cans. Again, this can has only inside fine female threads. and is older. Probably 15 20 years or more. Better option than getting a $20 or more like $45.000 screw in spout in my opinion. and for what I needed. Not perfect but I give it a 5 for the price.

Fits perfectly on Spectre Military gas cans from 1990's
This item arrived yesterday about 30 hours from when I ordered it. The product came with two gaskets, one flat gasket and one round gasket. Previously ppl were saying the round gasket was shortening the threads, I removed it and the flat gasket works perfectly. I have the plastic Spectre Military gas cans from 1990's and this worked perfectly. I also bought the fuel spout kit with vent plug and they aligned perfectly.

Will fit all US military fuel cans, Metal and plastic.
will work with both metal and sceptor military gas cans. Sceptor plastic cans inner, threads can strip. When you put this on leave it on. People c/o slow flow. I put gas can yellow vent caps to allow fuel to flow. Comes with flat gasket and o ring, I recommend going with flat gaskets and put vents at other side of top.

YIPPEE!!
This is the answer to my prayers. I have 4 jerry cans that I purchased 2010 and all the spouts that came with them eventually failed. I saw the adaptor on Amazon, purchased 2 and the EZ-POUR Gas Can Spout Replacement. AWESOME!!!

Good quality but not enough threads
Good quality products. It comes with an O-ring to raise the adapter up enough to use the factory vent in the can. The problem with that is there aren't enough threads on the adapter to make that work. I got about half a thread on and it pops off tearing up the threads on the can. The way I fixed it is to drill a corresponding hole in the adapter that matches up to the hole on the can to vent properly. I also had to cut a hole in the gasket. Just make sure you use a little bit of fuel resistant sealant on the back of the gasket to the adapter so it doesn't slide around. If you do this and keep the adapter on you will need to find something to fill the hole while in transport so it doesn't spill. Other than that it's a great product. If you have any questions let me know.

Close, but Not Quite
I bought this adapter, so I could attach my battery operated gas pump to my military Jerry can since a full gas can is a little heavy, and the spout is too large to fit inside the gas tank fill hole. Here’s what I found: • The adapter has two rubber gaskets — a wide flat one, and a rounded o-ring that sits on top of the flat gasket. • If only the flat one is used, it seals off the vent hole, so it appears that the o-ring was added to prevent that from happening, and allow the can to “breathe” during pouring so the fuel can flow properly. • A lot of customers complain that the threads on the adapter don’t match those on the can. I bought my gas can from the military supply center onboard my local Army base, and its genuine U.S. Government issued equipment. Each time I tried to screw the adapter onto my Jerry can, it simply popped off after a few turns (just like other customers described). I was disappointed. But then… • Out of curiosity, I took the o-ring off and tried it again and it fit perfectly. It screwed all the way down and sealed perfectly. A nice, tight fit. • The only problem with doing that is that it also seals off the vent hole on the can, so pouring (and pumping, in my case) becomes impossible. It definitely needs the o-ring. Conclusion: I returned the adapter, because it didn’t fit my needs. It seems heavy duty and well designed, except in that one important way: • the lower threaded part needs to be longer, to compensate for the thickness of the o-ring, since that seems to be what prevents the adapter from screwing onto the can properly. • The upper threaded part was a perfect fit for my battery operated fuel pump. Note: AFTER I returned the adapter, it occurred to me that removing the flat gasket and only using the o-ring might have worked too, but I don’t know. Hopefully, since there are so many similar complaints, the manufacturer will redesign the adapter to compensate for the o-ring so it doesn’t pop off the can anymore.

Perfect fit!
Like all EZ-Pour products- these are a perfect fit, well-made and dependable. Worth the extra dollar or 2 to have one that fits and does not leak in use- unlike the cheaper ones I've tried. I have items from EZ-Pour from almost 20 years past, that are still going strong.

Perfect fit and exactly what I needed to attach a Tera Pump to a MFC/Jerry Can
I love military fuel cans and have upgraded the gasket and changed the flanges to aluminum. That makes them leakproof and indestructible. The last piece of the puzzle was connecting a Tera Pump securely so I didn't have to worry about it sliding off. This is a perfect fit with the included Tera Pump adapters and replaces an incredibly janky contraption I'd built in the plumbing aisle at Home Depot. My life long search for the ultimate fuel transport, storage, and transfer is now complete. Appears to be E85 compatible if that's something anyone else is concerned with.

It's a great item but I wish the threads to screw into the Scepter fuel container were longer. They only engage about 3 threads if you're using the gasket or o-ring which is not enough engagement in my opinion. Another 3-4 threads would make me way happier as they are only plastic threads.
