Kurio Xtreme Tablet, Blue

First of all, I do like the tablets. They have good security and I can set levels on what they can view and download. Santa brought two tablets last year (one for a 7 year old and one for a 9 year old) and both had charging issues within 6 months. The customer service has been good, although they said I should try another charger. I have two chargers from Santa and it will charge my Amazon Fire but not the Kurios. If you wiggle the mini usb connection and make sure it is perfectly placed it will charge the blue one. The pink one completely stopped taking a charge and I had to send it back at the start of November. Estimated 30 days return, but supplier issues have caused delay. No word as of yet when the replacement will be shipped. I don't want to send the second one as they cannot ship a new one.Don't purchase until they add a more kid friendly charging method.

This is the second Kurio tablet I have purchased for my daughter. The first one lasted awhile and then died. We figured it was just that it had been used so much and it's time was done. So I bought another one, the exact same one as before, the Xtreme Tablet. The same thing happened. The charge wasn't holding well, and then eventually it wouldn't charge at all. We have tried other chargers that fit the port and it still didn't work. Not sure if the battery is just junk but for $100 I would expect it to last much longer. I bought the second one in July of 2017 and it isn't working. I am really disappointed and so isn't my kid. I am going to try to contact the seller to see if there is anything they can do even though the return window closed in like August.

I would not recommend this at all! They are garbage- something and for kids should be much more durable! My wife bought two of these for our two boys. The kids figured them out pretty fast- unfortunately,​ my short one year old dropped his once face down on the kitchen floor and the screen is now toast.. sad.

Everything about the Table was ok. It has very interesting games and educative programs.Unfortunately my younger son dropped the both Tablets on the floor and it doesn't come again. It's covered with ink when i put it on.I want to know if there is a way out. Maybe i can send it back for repairs.Please detail me on this respect because i like the Tablet and i will lie to fix it if it's possible.Waiting to hearing from you.

This is my 3rd kurio and they all die close to the year mark. Do not waste your money. Get a kindle instead.

The tablet itself has good features that can set viewing age/level and keep them from viewing or downloading things that they should not. The screen and outer area are strong and protected. My biggest gripe is the mini-usb plug in. I bought two tablets, one for each kid and within 6 months the charging ability has become questionable. I was told to try a new USB cord but I know that it still works in my amazon fire, so it isn't completely the answer. If you wiggle it around, it seems to charge.

We use Kurios for our children age 3-10. I love the parental controls and the fact you have access to Google Play and Amazon AppStore for free games. They are however not drop friendly! I recommend screen protectors although that is no guarantee either that you will not end up with a cracked screen. But otherwise I am very pleased with our Kurios.

I got this tablet for my daughter as a Christmas gift. Needless to say...it did not work .She was so bummed and so was I. We tried everything...and all to no avail. We got all excited for nothing...should have went with the majority of the reviews.
