In the End [Deluxe Casebound Book]

Great Music

I've listened to The Cranberries for what seems like forever and I'm tempted to give this album 5 stars for that reason, and Dolores's untimely and unexpected passing urges me to do this as well, but I want to be honest. The album is a lovely final album; it's emotional and personal and absolutely worth listening to. The lyrics are beautiful, but honestly quite repetitive and the album itself lacks the charisma of their past work. I understand that the recordings may have needed some more tweaking which couldn't possibly be done, but it's silly to pretend that it doesn't affect the final result. It' a downer that this is their last album and I will always pop in a Cranberries CD from time to time, but it probably won't be this one as much as others, though it will get replay. I'm happy that the remaining band members honored Dolores by releasing this final album as I'm sure she would have wanted it heard. The album is worth the purchase and the one I received came in a book format with lyrics...very cool. I give it 4 stars.

IN THE END What a great finale cd. Dolores would be so proud as a group putting it all together as a finale. The Cranberries and there music will go on long before we all meet our maker. As a fan and following them for years and all the great music they produced they are one of a kind but there music will live forever. Thank you so so much Dolores and the Cranberries. Rock on

Well, what is there left to be said, this is a really powerful musical requiem for the Cranberries, and it works on a lot of levels. Dolores' death really is a shadow that casts a pall over a lot of this music, but there are so many good moments on this disc that its a really engaging and bittersweet listen throughout.

El audio es muy bueno en todos los sentidos, lo recomiendo ampliamente a todo fan de la banda.

Album excellent, à mettre dans sa collection

Vinile arrivato come sempre velocemente e ben imballato. Vinile colore violetto. Ascoltato con impianto datato ma di buon livello ha una buona stampa sonora. I colorati cmq come risaputo hanno un rumore di fondo un po' più presente di quelli classici neri. Album dei Cramberries immancabile e bellissimo.Aggiornamento dopo qualche giorno: fatto reso in quanto il rumore di fondo era troppo pronunciato, poco sopportabile insomma.Arrivata la sostituzione: rumore di fondo sempre presente ma molto meno di quello reso.

I was very much looking forward to this vinyl. It's one of my favourite albums of The Cranberries but unfortunately on both side A and B, the last two songs are fuzzy. The vocals aren't very clear. So disappointed! Having to return. Fingers crossed a replacement is better.
