Norpro Grip EZ Scoop Scrape And Mix Spatula

This thing is awesome. I had been using a different rubber spatula that was red and black, and shaped a little like a saber with a rounded end. I loved it because it worked great AND I could kind of pretend I was wielding a sword while cooking (whee!), but it broke after a few years, and in the futile search to find a replacement, I came across this bad boy. As soon as I used it, I ordered a second one. I’d intended to keep one unused as a replacement, but I immediately began using both of them constantly, for all kinds of cooking, mixing, serving, etc. With rare exceptions, the long, gentle curve of the edge on this thing is better than any rubber spatula I’ve ever used. And it’s not just exquisitely effective at scraping the sides of bowls and containers - it’s what i grab when cooking on the stove. It handles moderate heat well, it’s got a good handle, is double-sided (so it’s comfortable and effective in either hand), and it’s slightly concave, so it can also be used as a spoon. I have (logically) never used it during high heat cooking (grilling, deep-frying, etc), so I cannot actually say it doesn’t work. But I don’t advise anyone try it, and I don’t care to find out for myself - that’s what metal utensils are for. Besides, with the exception of 2 beloved knives, this is my favorite, most consistently used, go-to kitchen utensil, and I’m not curious enough to ever risk destroying them! I even use these to do things like toss salad, sift flour, cook scrambled eggs and browned hamburger, spread condiments on bread or ingredients on layered casseroles, etc. If I was forced to find one thing to change, I’d make it a different color…tomato sauce is always a stain-causing nightmare for light colored kitchen plastics. But honestly, it doesn’t bother me because they’re so effective. They may be slightly discolored, but favorites always tend to show a little wear and tear. ❤️

This is hands down the best spatula and overall kitchen utensil I've ever owned. I bought it several years back on a whim from a local store and have used it almost everyday since. It's still in great condition. but I decided that I needed another one (or two) as back ups, just in case. I searched endlessly online for it since I couldn't figure out the brand name (rubbed off) and since it has a unique shape. I was so glad to find it here for a steal. It's perfect for mixing brownie batter, cookie dough, cake batter, ground chicken/beef for meatballs, etc etc. It scrapes the bowl PERFECTLY every time and doesn't leave anything behind. It's great for getting every last bit out of the bowl, due to the unique shape. It's long enough so that it mixes everything in the bowl thoroughly without getting your hands to close or batter on the actual handle, but still easy enough to handle. It also cleans up really well in warm soapy water - it does not retain odors or stains. This surpasses any other spatula that I've ever used - I honestly refuse to use anything else at this point. Give it a try, you won't regret it!!

This is the BEST KITCHEN UTENSIL I have ever found! It takes on any scraping, stirring, folding, mixing job; just about anything you try. It handles wet or dry equally well. Handle is comfortable (especially if you have any arthritis) to grip. The shape and firmness of the blade portion makes it easy for getting into smaller areas of straight-sided cookware as well as the sides of small or large bowls. It is very useful for coated pans and bakeware as it won't damage the surface. Clean up is fast and easy. I now have two of these and have gifted each of my daughters one as well. Way to go, Norpro!!!

I love this so much I ordered another one! I love to bake and this is the best thing ever. It stirs scrapes and scoops literally an all in one. You don't have to keep switching utincels. I would definitely recommend this item

I love these spatulas. I got another for me and several for girlfriend gift. They really are a great tool for removing all the batter in an ergonomic fashion. A precision tool that was well designed.

I love this spatula! I already had one that I use all the time for mixing wet batters (cake, muffin, and quick-bread, etc.), and I was happy to find it on Amazon so I could have a second one available for when the first one is in the dishwasher. This spatula was packaged by the manufacturer for hanging on a display rack (attached to cardboard with wire ties). It was shipped in a bubble-padded envelop with another item, without any additional wrapping or protection. The envelope was too big, and the padding too thin, so the two items shifted quite a bit in transit and the spatula arrived partially detached from the manufacturer's packaging and with some nicks in the handle, so I had to down-grade this from a 5-star purchase to a 4-star. But the spatula rocks and is one of my favorite kitchen tools.

I was gifted one of these for Christmas and I fell in love immediately! This thing is the very best. If you are not sure just buy it you won’t regret it, then you will buy more to give them as gifts after you fall in love also. I now have like 4 of them to have enough for all the kitchen projects :)
