1886 Moiré & Plush Toilette Pattern. 36" Bust - 25" Waist. The basque and tablier of this dress were of royal blue plush and the draped demi-train was of moiré of the same tint. The foundation skirt is a round skirt of walking length and is faced with plush on the front and is bordered with a thick ruche of faille at the foot. Pattern consists of basque, plastron, draped train and foundation skirt. Yardage - Approx 11 1/2 yds moire 45" wide, 3 1/4 yds plush 45" wide, 5 1/3 yds foundation silk 45" wide. Ageless Patterns (AG) are original patterns from the indicated era and include original sewing instructions from the Victorian/Edwardian/Titanic era and assume some sewing knowledge.
