I bought two of these after a couple of other LED light options didn't work well - one for my closet and one for our daughter's closet. Both work wonderfully. They were very easy to install. They are very bright and do a great job of illuminating everything we need them to. I'm also very impressed with the motion sensitivity on both of them; they both come on as soon as I open the door (my closet) or step into the closet (daughter's closet) and stay on for a decent length of time. Not sure how the D battery life will be yet. I've had them installed for about a month with daily use in both closets, and the batteries have held out so far, which is good.

This light is such good quality. We installed it in our small closet we turned into a pantry that had no light, and I set it to motion sensor. All I can say is WOW! This is strangely one of my most exciting purchases ever. Every time I go to get something out of my pantry it turns on as I approach, stays on until I am done, and turns itself off a few seconds after I leave. I wish every light in my house was this awesome! Battery life has been great too. I have had them in for a month today, and they are still going strong, and it gets used frequently in my large household. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

If you're looking for this light to be bright?... it will NOT be bright. 300 lumens is only about 20 to 25W in an incandescent bulb, depending on the source you check. It is brighter than a nightlight, however. We installed it in a newly-created 30" x 40" area at the top of a basement stairway. It serves its function with just enough light so that we're not bumping around in the dark looking for door handles. The light comes with a remote, which we're not using since we're relying on the motion sensor to activate the light. The motion sensor works fine, with only a fraction of a second delay before the light turns on. I can't speak to its longevity, as we just installed it a few days ago My recommendation is to NOT use the wall anchors that came with the unit -- these do not have the small flange on the end and the wall anchors pushed through the sheetrock upon tightening the screws. Instead, I took two anchors from the assortment I bought here on Amazon a while back and used those. Worked perfectly. In any event, I would NOT use double stick tape as the three D-cells make the assembly too heavy for that, I estimate

This is a great light. I have a small shower in a small bathroom that doesn't have a shower light. I was going to have a light installed by an electrician, but I found this one, and thought I would give it a try. I am very happy that I did. The ability to turn off the motion sensor is useful. It also has a timer. When I use the shower, I set the light to turn off in 15 minutes. This way I don't have to remember to turn it off and run the batteries down. It is very bright, and I like the ability to change the light from warm to cool.

It's a perfect size to put on the ceiling of my guest tub/shower combo. I did have to screw it into the ceiling but it was no problem doing so. I love that the remote has several different options with timing options as well. I just velcroed it to the wall next to the shower. I don't know how long the batteries will last. I believe they are D. The motion sensor option works great for trips to the bathroom in the night. It does only stay on for 14 seconds (i timed it) when in motion sensor mode so if you need more time than that, you just swing your arm out and it turns back on again. I'm glad I purchased this. I've since moved and bought two more of these to put in both my bathroom shower stalls. They work great!

I've had this light for over a year and it worked fine. I wish it were a bit brighter, but otherwise I am pleased with this light. Bonus: very easy to stick on shower enclosure. A few weeks ago, it switched itself to motion sensor and I could not use the other features, nor turn off motion sensor. I contacted the seller and he send me instructions for using the remote, which I had been using (successfully) for several months. I submitted a question to the site and two people made suggestions, but neither worked. I changed the battery in the remote and it still did not work. I bought a new remote and it now works as before. These are great except just plan on ordering new batteries for the remotes they all arrive dead but work once replaced. I can’t make the motion sensor work but it is for my closets so not critical. Each takes 3 D batteries. I put them on the wall with velcro tape instead of the screws. I love the fact that I can choose a warmer tone light rather than the harsh blue tones. Sufficiently bright with 1 in a small closet and 2 in a large closet.

I bought this to hang in my shower, as it has always been kind of dark there. I used velcro to hang the remote on the outside of the shower wall, so I can turn it on and off easily as I get in and out. It was easy to hang on the ceiling and works well so far. It is very bright and was perfect for what I wanted. The only issue I may have is when I need to change the batteries, but that may be more about me than the product itself! I am glad I purchased this one after so many years of being in the dark!

It is perfect for brightening upa dark spot in my kitchen.
