Bright for the price great for small area too

Easy to install, very bright light. Minus one star because it gets warmer than I thought it would. It is mounted directly against wood so I will have to keep an eye on this since we plan to run it all night.

I have a small area in my hall in front of the washer/dryer area. A vent and attic stairs limits the size of a lamp. This small light fit perfectly and is much brighter than the original lamp.

I bought this to replace a dome light in my hallway and got it mainly based on price. I have to say that this light definitely is worth every dime. Super bright, easy to install, and looks great. I ended up buying a second one for another room in my house. Just as good, if not better than the more expensive ones from the big box stores, and actually much thinner.

One night I flipped on a bulb-type light fixture in a hall. There was a terrible sound smoke poured out. I immediately flipped the switch off and the smoke dissipated. I called the fire department to see if I should worry. The spokesperson said they would send someONE to check it out. Pretty soon there were two fire trucks, an ambulance, and 6 fully costumed firemen in my house. After taking the light down, they said there was nothing to worry about but, they noticed charcoal in several of the inverted dome-type hall lights. I had them all replaced with LED lights which are wonderful and very bright. My house was built in 1992 and the firemen said that that kind of light that burned was not made anymore.
