Takes photos, videos, and switches modes IF you set your phone up first!
I wrote this review because none of the others make sense so it’s hard to actually decide if you want this product. My assessment so far:I bought this to scuba and snorkel with. I have not yet left, but I have tried the case out in the sink at home with good results so far. Update: worked like a champ at 35’ below the surface.THE ONLY FUNCTION THAT YOU CAN OPERATE WITH THIS CASE IS THE PHOTO/VIDEO FUNCTION. I don’t know what else you would want, but there. Now you know.THE ONLY WAY IT WORKS IS TO TURN OFF YOUR AUTO SCREEN LOCK. If you don’t, the phone locks after a few seconds and Face ID will not open the phone even above water if it’s in the case.ONCE THE PHONE IS UNLOCKED AND IN THE CASE, THE METAL BUTTONS WILL ACCESS YOUR CAMERA FEATURE ON YOUR HOME SCREEN. I found if I press and hold the bottom right button for a second, it opens the phone app shortcut.ONCE IN THE PHOTO APP, THE METAL BUTTONS DO LET YOU SWITCH BETWEEN VIDEO AND PHOTOS, AS WELL AS SELFIE MODE. Simply press the metal buttons that correspond to the feature you want.THE CASE COMES WITH A WRISTSTRAP LANYARD AND SCREENCLEANING WIPE. I was worried about dropping my phone while snorkeling, but am relieved it comes with a lanyard. Also has screw holes for monopod, tripod, selfie stick, etc.We leave for vacation tomorrow. If it fails and my phone dies, I will update this review, but overall seems like good quality and I’m confident it will do the job.

Worked out well diving with my iPhone XR
I was a bit worried when I purchased this product after reading some of the reviews, but I was overall very pleased with the product given its affordability. I dove with it 6 times in the Caribbeans down to 50ft and I didn't have any issue. I greased the rubber band and had no leak at all. The case is very sturdy and the pictures look good. The case fit perfectly my iPhone XR and I had no issue with the button locations. They hit the right spots of the photos app. My only issue was that the lens fogged up on one of my dives. I think I made the mistake of closing the case too early and it got too hot so some water condensed inside. I'd recommend to reboot the phone and keep it cool outside of the case until the last minute before the dive. There's also mild signs of rust on the screws of the brace but it doesn't affect the case's seal.

Must have for underwater shots
The media could not be loaded. Had trouble with the buttons marking good contact with the phone screen .. but always got it to work and had great shots and protected the phone.. way better than the soft bag style and it can go scuba diving my Old underwater Niconus is officially retired!

Plastic clasp broke off
I was enjoying this product for snorkeling but after a few days the plastic clasp which holds the case closed snapped off when I sealed the case. It seems like the case is slightly warped and requires more force to close, which the clasp could not withstand. But I did not leave it out exposed in the sun. Otherwise worked as described for my iPhone XR. Good for the price until it broke.

It passed the pilot test
the product looks rigid and i tested it two times, once in kitchen under 15cm of water for 20 min and it passed;the second time in pool and in depth of 1m and it still showed no sign of water entrance.however, both tests were with cloth and NOT the actual phone. One more test in deep water and then i can surely say if it is okay or not

Good solid underwater phone case.
A good, solid product. So far, it all works. No leaks. Buttons function but it takes a bit of setup and "dry practice." EvenWith brightness all the way up the screen is tough to see, but that's on the phone, not on this case.Takes great videos and pics.

Liked a lot
Used for scuba diving. Pretested at home worked great. Took on a dive trip, first dive no problems. I was very happy. Between dives I opened case and closed it back up, but did not double check the O ring. As soon as I jumped in for second dive started water started leaking in. Fortunately I put onboard right away and crew saved the phone.Returned it. I didn’t want to risk my phone again. Possible flaw operator error.

Had to return it
It seemed really well built. Very sturdy latching mechanism. Tested for leaks and it tested fine. My major issue was that the button to activate the camera took way too much effort. The same button also seemed to be misaligned with the actual area that activates the camera. An issue that I didn't look into, which is my bad, is that there is no way to zoom in or out. Other than that I think it would have been fine in the water.

Buttons don't work as they should
One of the buttons to advance the menu to the right does not work I had to place some packing on it to make it connect.
