Didn't I tell you you'd never be free of me? When Sadie Hoffmiller receives a threatening, anonymous text message just days before her wedding, she is determined not to let it interfere with the celebration she has carefully planned for months. But when the threat changes from a distant fear to a frightening reality, Sadie realizes just how much she is underestimated the situation. Desperate to put an end to the game she has been forced to play, Sadie, her fiancé, Pete, and her children pull out all the stops resolved to stop running and see justice done. What they do not know, however, is just how far Sadies nemesis is willing to go and just how many people may be hurt in the process. There is no turning back for anyone in this riveting conclusion to the twelve-volume series, and the question becomes whether or not Sadie will have a future left when the game finally comes to an end. Review: Excellent End to a Great Series - This book really kept me engaged. I really had a hard time putting it down. You truly do need to read all the other books in the series before this one, the ends do get wrapped up for most of the characters. I highly recommend this series, it’s really fun and I don’t typically read the mystery genre. Review: The Conclusion To A Great Murder Mystery Series With Recipes As A Gift! - In this twelfth novel in the 'Culinary Mystery Series,' we finally are invited to attend the wedding of our main sleuth, Sarah Hoffmiller (aka Sadie) and her long-term beau, Peter Cunningham. Their courtship has been tumultuous to say the least and Sadie has had to hide in many different states and locations to keep safe from 'Jane' her stalker. The Author announced that this was to be the final volume and that she was going to tie up many endings. Well, I'm not going to give away the action, excitement, drama, and love...let me just say that this book fulfilled each promise and was stunning at the conclusion. This cozy murder series has always had the extra gift of a series of recipes within it's pages. I have prepared and cooked and baked many of it's tasty treats and this one continued the tradition. If you enjoy a good mystery and a full cast with action, this book pulls out 'all the stops' and gives a good read. I will miss Sadie and Pete and their families and friends, but not Jane.

Good, fun read which goes quickly
Good, fun read which goes quickly. It does not require intense involvement so it was easy to take on a trip and enjoy it.

Last book in the series doesn't disappoint... a must read!
Josi Kilpack doesn't disappoint her fans of the Sadie culinary mystery series. Her last book is as suspenseful as 'Pumpkin Roll' and full of twists and turns. Sadie is back to her "normal" self (The self where you say, "No Sadie, don't open that door..." and then Sadie opens the door.) and beloved and not-so beloved characters are brought back to wrap up the series. I must say I love Pete in this book where in others I really wondered why Sadie wanted to marry him. This was one of the best written 'last of a series' I have read in quite a while. A definite read, though you must first read all the other books in the series first.

Will leaving you feeling WOW! What a great book
Number 12 and the last of a great series! Josi Kilpack does not disappoint! This book is full of action and twists from page one. Many characters from the other books come back for the finale. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat and dumbfounded at all that happens to Sadie. Without trying to give away the ending...I was happy with the way things ended up and was absolutely thrilled with the last chapter I smiled the whole way through it, what a great ending! The whole book just left me feeling, WOW! Josie Kilpack is awesome and because of her I also discovered some other equally awesome Authors if you haven't read any of her stuff yet do it RIGHT NOW!!!!

This series is A MUST HAVE addition to any well rounded library (especially if you like to cook!)
Great book! Make sure you have read all the others in this series first! It references the other books several times. The other books can be read in any order really, they stand alone fairly well. But this one needs to be last. I really enjoyed it! Josi Kilpack is a wonderful author. Her books are "clean" (appropriate for this overprotective mom to let her younger teen girls read), yet never boring or slow reading. And the recipes in them are simply divine! I'm not a big reader, but I enjoy getting lost in easy to read stories that keep me guessing. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Fabulous Finale!
I absolutely loved this final chapter in Sadie's mystery-solving life. At least Josi is saying it's the final. I think Sadie will continue to find herself in situations where she needs to be the person involved in solving a problem. I NEED her to continue on! This can't be the end! Please let Sadie help others and entertain us with her foibles and feed us with her fabulous food! Keep Sadie Alive!
