Won't ever go back to a regular hose
After using these non-kink hoses I refuse to ever use a traditional hose again. It's so incredibly easy to uncoil and recoil and you never have to worry about losing pressure because the hose folded on itself. If you're someone who travels to take care of peoples' lawns or something, it very easily fits in the bag they give you and is very lightweight. I can't speak about the sprayer as I took it off and replaced it with another one, but it did feel like it was made out of cheap, lightweight plastic. I am happy they let you change it though, as the last hose I bought like this did not. There's one important thing you should all know: when you're done using this hose, you need to turn off your faucet and hold the sprayer down to drain any water out of the hose. If you don't do this for these types of hoses it will break the lining in the hose, effectively destroying the hose. The last hose I bought, someone used it and didn't drain it and the next day it was broken.

Well made, lightweight, easy to maneuver
This expandable hose is easy to maneuver. It is well designed, lightweight, durable and "shrinks" after use for easy, out-of-the-way, storage. It has a convenient on/off switch at the end that attaches to a nozzle -- and the end pieces and on/off switch are made of solid brass. I was so impressed with its performance, durability and easy manageability that I purchased a 2nd hose for our other outdoor faucet. Added bonus: Comes with a storage hanger and nozzle! I would highly recommend this hose,

Leaks horribly- waste of money
This hose seemed great at first; very stretchy and easy to maneuver but after six months it sprung a leak toward the nozzle end and then multiple leaks at the hookup end. It’s leaking as much water as is coming out of the sprayer now. It’s going on the trash.

Lasted 2.5 years
I'm editing my original review which is below. I spent a considerable amount of time trying to find a similar hose that didn't have this problem, or worse. It's seems to be a pervasive issue with the materials of all expanding hoses, so considering I got 2.5 years of excellent service from this hose, I'm increasing the star rating to 4/5.Original review: It was a reliable hose for about 2.5 years that always retracted dutifully as I releived the last of the water pressure. I used it weekly and hung it up in the shade after each use. A little trickle started developing in the first few inches below the spigot about 6 months ago, which turned into a gusher today.

UPDATE: Still a Great Backyard Purchase, BUT!
UPDATE 15 Months Later:I just wanted to show the importance of not buying a long enough hose, BUT... this is still a five-star product! In addition, the price has dropped by $10 since we purchased it - a steal now!The second picture shows the hose leaking spot, BUT IT'S NOT THE FAULT OF THE MANUFACTURER. We just have stretched it beyond where we should have, so obviously it's going to leak at its most vulnerable point - that's on us. I'm going to replace it with a 100 ft hose this time, so it should last a long time!ORIGINAL: This lightweight hose has simplified watering our back patio containers. My Master Gardener wife has a fragile neck and shoulders, and gets pretty sore dragging a traditional hose around, but this hose has changed everything for her!She easily carries it to each plant, and couldn't believe it the first time she pulled it out to 50 feet, and then let it retract back to a little pile at her feet. See picture of a lightweight hose holder from Lowe's for under $10, that we just drape the hose over, and an "S" hook holds the free wand that comes with the hose.Pretty cool product - I'll be getting another for my front porch.

LIGHTLY USED
Updated 12/10/2019 after using for ... don't know. Can't see original post date when editing.Unchanged stars (3)The fittings quickly discolored and look bad - but work.Since I'm retired, maybe I'll try cleaning them followed by coating with polyurethane.I'm more into function than form, but it IS ugly. And, otherwise serves my purposes very well.Amazon prompted me for a review, so ...I purchased this expandable hose so I would no longer have to wheel my carted hose from thefront yard to the back - which was necessary quite INfrequently.Which is to explain why I gave three stars for durability. I don't use it enough to know.BUT. it IS Maneuverable and Light Weight - so five stars for those. And it doesn't leak at the fittings.Your results may vary - especially if you speed from light to light, hammering the brakes frequently. And increase your risk by never using your turn signal. Which leads me to believethat if drivers treated other drivers like their friends instead of their enemies, there would be far fewer accidents.

My favorite purchase until it burst
This was easily my FAVORITE purchase I have made (tool-wise), light weight, easy to store, super cool how it expands, etc. until a few days ago I went to wash my car and when I turned the water on, the hose started leaking in 2 different areas. It was like seeing my best friend break an arm. I wanted to cry out, "NOOOOOO!!!" seeing my beautiful little hose burst like that. I have had the hose less than a year and store it in front entry porch (out of the sun 90% of the time). So, it's a great short term hose, if you're into that, but I wanted mine for the long run. RIP little stretchy hose T-T

Perfect little hose
This hose is so light and compact! I used to leave my hoses outside and they would get all grimy and gross and ruined by the sun. I like that this one shrinks to fit into a little bag which I keep indoors now. The spray handle that comes with it is very nice as well. Excellent value!
