partly true. on usps.com you can order a booklet of 20 of these exact forever stamps for $11. you do have to pay shipping for them but that's only $1.30. so it will cost $12.30 to buy these from the USPS website and almost $17 to buy them on here... ripoff.

Yes -- these stamps are $11 per book of 20 on the USPS site. (I just checked - 1.21.2020.) A nominal shipping and handling fee is calculated based on address. Mine, for example, would be $1.30 for one book, totaling $12.30, directly from USPS.

Q: Why did the word “forever” get crossed out in the picture?

Perhaps it was for Marketing purposes. However, the actual stamps do Not have the word Forever crossed out!

Q: When it says book, does that mean self sticking?

The Stamps don’t come in a book. They come on a double sided sheet, 8 stamps on one side and 12 stamps on the other side. The stamps are self sticking. They arrive exactly as pictured, on a double sided sheet.
