Did you know you can install this as a plug-in hanging light very easily? I found some old speaker wire that looked similar to the wire provided with the light and purchased a replacement plug and a rocker on-off switch here on Amazon and put it all together. This isn't rocket surgery, it's two wires that you simply attach to the rocker switch and than attach that to the replacement plug, might take 5 minutes to do. Or you can find an old toaster or fan that isn't working and cut the cord with the plug attached and use that for your lamp. I used a rocker switch, but you can use a dial switch or no switch at all, just unplug to turn off the lamp.I bought this lamp and a smaller blue one and did them both with the switches. I did this so I can move the lamp to any room that has an outlet or outdoors using an extension cord. The lampshade part of these is pretty but the wiring is sketchy. I think it’s made in China do not up to US standards. Trying to figure out which wire connects to there as they are both clear was challenging. Once I had everything connected it blew my light switch. Ended up having to get new lamp kit from Home Depot and just using the shade.

This light looks great in a modern decor or in a bohemian decor. Very versatile and a great value for the money. It really transformed our room.

Beautiful light! I wanted it to be a plug in light rather than hardwired so my fiance helped me figure that out with a different longer cord I ordered and it looks great! Wouldn't have been able to figure it out myself I don't think but he figured it out pretty fast!

It didn’t work for us, the electrical cord caused a short circuit on my whole first floor even though it was installed by a professional , i ended up spending more money fixing all the damage , had to throw it away

Mine arrived crushed, the entire box was actually crushed. From what I could see the material wasn’t worth the money. However, I can’t give it a 100% review.
