Good Set. Just Works
Good Set. Includes all you need except steppers, fans, heated bed, power supply and extruder. Information on included CD but I did not really look at it as this is going on the fifth printer I built and I have a pretty good handle on how it works. Loaded Marlin 1.1.1 with my custom configuration for an 8x8x10" printer and everything just worked. Stepper drivers were a bit tight and needed a little filing to get them to fit properly but that seems to be normal on a RAMPS board. Jumpers included for setting the step rate and a few spares. Normal useless 2 foot USB cable included. It also comes with heat sinks for the stepper drivers but I rarely use them as they do not seem to help and may actually hinder heat transfer.

Needs modifications & aditional 12v power supply to run 24v!
Can this pairing support 24v? Yes, BUT, one of the fuses on the RAMP 1.4 is only 16V, so you have to desolder that and replace it with a 24v. You also have to remove the surface mount diode that supplies power to the Arduino MEGA as it only works with 12v. Which means now you have to power the MEGA with a 12v power supply or connect a USB cable to it. The display should function with 12v or 24v.. So, two stars due to the missing voltage data. Along with the misleading reply to the 24v question asked.

Whats up with the CD rom
Everything looks real nice. Especially the Ramps board and the Mega. I just wish the CD Rom that came in the kit had viewable PDF files. I looked through the whole disk not one would open on my pc. There is a compressed Arduino file that just I assume has the Arduino software on it. It just give me error messages that say its corrupt. Other than that its a solid kit.

Replaced the main board from my Anet A8 with this. It was super easy to set up with some quick googling for setting up a RAMPS board. No more burned up heatbed connector for me!

Was a good deal, but didn't last long. Replaced all parts already, one by one.
Few pins bent on arrival. The pololu A4988 clones only go up to a Vref of 1.21V, limiting the current they'll push. The traces running to the mosfet driving the hotend are wonky; had to press the board in order to get correct performance (i.e. not always on or always off). The voltage regulator on the Arduino mega burned up... Finally, the connector on the LCD/SD board shorted and burn out my pin 49 on my genuine(o) Arduino.

MOSFETs for the Bed and Hotend Burn Up
I'd love to give this board a higher rating, but it loses three stars for not being able to handle a standard heated bed or hotend without bursting into flame. I get using cheap components on value electronics EXCEPT for when it creates a safety hazard.

Good kit, but needs an external mosfet controller
Good kit, but needs an external mosfet controller. My maker select fried the ptc fuse so I added an automotive fuse.

Works but not pretty.
So it works but I ended up going with the biqu integrated board instead. The stepper drivers didn’t fit properly on the board as there wasn’t enough spacing from the headers. Also the arduino couldn’t get flush either. Disappointed in the set. Some reviews said jumpers weren’t included, mine had them.
