So expensive. So good.
Not many times in a person's life where they need a gallon of glue, but I needed several gallons to replace the roof of an RV. First layer is wood to styrene, second layer is wood to wood. This stuff worked beautifully. Poured it into a paint tray, applied with a texture roller, easy peasy. It gets tacky within a few minutes, good adhesion not long after, but takes a while to fully dry/cure. Overall, it's very easy to work with and does a great job. I am also quite happy that it seems to stay usable while sealed for a long time - I've got about a quart left in the jug, and a month later it's still perfect. This stuff isn't cheap, but like most magic 3M chemicals, it does exactly what it says it does and does it well.

The best choice for wrapping a drum set!
I used this to wrap a drum set I was building. It worked flawlessly. You have to allow each piece you're gluing to dry for about 45 minutes before you put them together...BUT, once you touch them to each other, that's it, they're not coming apart. No, this stuff isn't cheap, but it works.

This stuff, uh... works too well
So my dumb self decided to use this on some furniture linoleum (Forbo) and for some reason I wasn't prepared for it to stick so well and immediately. It barely grazed it and that was it. I ruined part of my desk because it was impossible to remove and I stretched/ripped some of the linoleum in a panic trying to get it off. User error. Wish I had a helper at the time. Anyway very easy to apply and low VOC make this a great product. Just be careful when joining the two parts.

Terrible product
I'm a handyman and I was installing formica countertops in two bathrooms for a client. I bought this because I generally trust the 3M brand. But I will never buy this adhesive again. I've used other contact cement before, so I'm familiar with the process. I cleaned the surface and applied the glue according to the instructions. After waiting 30-45 min I attempted to adhere the panel to the countertop and it barely stuck. Even after I pressed it with a roller it still was not stuck together properly. I removed the pieces and put another coat of glue with the same result. I did it a third time with the same result. I looked up some tips and one was to heat it with a heat gun and then try to press them together. This did not work either. This job is now taking me hours longer than it was supposed to and I ended up having to buy DAP Weldwood Contact Cement and go back another day. So if you don't want to waste your time and money, buy something else.

Works great but...
This stuff works great. Over the years my mom's kitchen counter top had started to come loose around the edges and one day she caught it with her jacket and ripped up six inches of it. I applied this stuff with a brush to both surfaces, rolled it back down, and then clamped it. Took me less than 5 minutes to do and the next day the countertop was like new. The reason it didn't get a 5 star review is somehow the product leaked during transit and got all over a few of the other items that were in the box making a heck of a mess. Also, like anything else, it could be a little cheaper

Good glue without the smell
I've been using good old Weldwood contact cement and getting high. This glue doesn't have the smell, or get you high. It's water base so cleans up easily. And best of all it glues just as well as Weldwood. I've switched.

Best Contact Adhesive
I was working on an RV project where I had build panels. These panels were made of framed wood with styrofoam sandwiched between 2 pieces of luan. I done this type of project before and had used 3M 1357 adhesive (which is really great adhesive) to glue the luan to the wood frame and I had use spray can adhesive for for gluing the foam to the plywood. The reason I had to use two adhesive for this project is that the 1357 will melt the foam. The 3M 30 NF Fastbond melt most kinds of foam. I use this adhesive to glue up the pieces because it faster to use one type of adhesive. Another good use of the Fasbond adhesive is for gluing headliner carpet for RV's. I was going to spray the adhesive on the carpet however my compressor was not powerful enough to handle the job. I quickly had use chip brushes to get the adhesive on the carpet. The 3M 30 NF worked great for the application and finish product looked great. It is so much easier to work with the Fastbond than other adhesives. If you buy by the gallon than the price is much cheaper than than the other adhesives.
