PRO 11 WELLBEING Acupressure mat and pillow set with carry bag (Grey/Blue)

I love, love, love this mat! I have sciatica plus working from home and not being positioned properly at a desk has put enormous strain on my upper back and neck. Half an hour at the end of the day laid on my mat makes me feel brand new. The ‘pain’ when you first lay in it is totally bearable and, after a few uses, you totally get used to it. I put on some meditation music when I’m on my mat and it becomes a bit of a mindfulness session. I have even fallen asleep while laid on it. The neck roll is great to use while sat up, just position is behind your lower back or the back of your neck. The carry bag is super handy and I keep mine in the plastic zip lock bag it came in too. Thoroughly recommend.

I was very sceptical before I bought this mat but decided to try it as the price was appealing. I really like lying on it. First time was painful but it was a weirdly nice pain, now I can even fall asleep on it and don't feel the pain. I don't use the pillow as I find it too high. I use this mat in my bed as it blends into the body better when it's on the mattress rather than on the flat floor.I've been using it for few weeks (not every day though) as a massage. Once I had a lower back pain and after using it for about 20-30 minutes the pain was almost gone. Nice gadget, not sure if it works for every back pain but it worked for me.

As other reviewers have mentioned, it would be helpful if this mat arrived with instructions. That said, it is pretty self explanatory and I started off lying on it for approximately 10 mins at a time with thin clothing on and I am now able (3 weeks later) to lie on it without clothing for longer periods of time. I bought this mat as I suffer from very bad neck/shoulder tight muscle pain and I regularly need acupuncture and sports massages to help. While I haven’t seen much of an improvement in pain relief, one thing I have noticed is a massive improvement in my sleep. Since using this mat, I’m finding it much easier to fall asleep at night - I usually spend hours tossing and turning and rarely fall asleep before 1am despite early starts but with this mat, I’ve been super tired and heading to bed much earlier. I also enjoy the sensation of intense heat that the mat gives you after a period of time.

I’d heard so many people raving about these things so I thought I’d give this one a go; for £20 I thought it’s not the biggest loss if it turns out not for me.It was smaller than expected. It’s the size of a baby changing mat so only big enough for your back. You do get a spikey pillow too, though I don’t use it, I can’t get comfy using the pillow too.So anyway, It’s turned out to be a great investment; I love it. The first time I used it I could do just 1 minute, bare skin on spikes, but breathe into it, focus elsewhere and I quickly developed longer staying power and do 15-30mins now.Mind, it’s the tearing yourself off it that stings a little after a long stint. Your skin is red and dinted by the little spikes and feels a bit like sunburn. However it also brings on a mild elation, mixed with a really calm state, I love it.I tend to use mine after my daily exercise and it’s like a form of meditation for me.It rolls back up easy and pops back into the drawstring carry bag.Recommended.

This takes a few uses to be comfortable but is worth persevering. I suffer with neck and shoulder tension and pain. I bought this as I'm used to acupuncture and wondered if it might help. I usually get comfy in bed then put the mat behind me and lay carefully back and try to relax onto it. If you need to make slight position adjustments do it very slowly. Start with a t shirt or pj's on and after a few times move to no clothes.I find it really helps with pain and helps me sleep. I don't use it every night but probably a couple of times a week. The nextday I always feel more relaxed in myself and usually the pain has disappeared. For the price it's very effective, for me anyway.

I bought 2 of these. One for my mum (it was her idea) and one for myself. They take a bit of getting used to and have to say iI have onlyi had slight relief but my mum absolutley loves hers though

The first few times I used this it was almost unbearable but I persevered and now its very easy to do 30-60 mins. The longer you lay the better the benefits, you go from feeling slightly uncomfortable, through warmth and then total relaxation. I've only given 4 stars for pain relief because I don't really have any pain to start with but I imagine you would get a benefit what with all the blood flow to that area, the same for sleep, only 3 stars because I am not a bad sleeper anyway so cannot really comment. For the money compared to other brands I think this is a good buy, it comes with a bag and rolls easily into it for storage.

I bought this after straining my lower back. I'd already had some treatment via the osteopaths but I was struggling with relieving pain whilst at home. I saw a similar product to this on Instagram and thought I'd look into it. It arrived within the week, during a lockdown no less. I'll admit I was surprised at how small it was but I'm 5"2 and I'm able to comfortably fit the separate pillow under my neck whilst lying on the mat. I also got my family members to try it, who are all taller, and they can use it no issue.As for the 'pain factor' I honestly don't notice the little flower-shaped spikes and the pillow helps to elongate my spine. I've found that it stretches me out and cracks my lower back, relieving tension, just by lying flat. Very happy with my purchase, just think for taller/broader people it could be a bit small.
